I am 40 Year old woman. My TSH is 13.8. My Total cholestrol is gone high to 228. LDL Cholestrol level is 158.76. Non HDL Cholestrol is 172.80. I am actually very slim. I have always been slim. Is the increase in cholestrol is due to my TSH level. I have started medication for thyroid from last 3 months since then.

Ans: Yes. Thyroxine helps in metabolising the cholesterol
So along with Thyroxine bring some dietary discipline
Early dinner by 6 pm and avoid animal protein in dinner meal

Ans: -Reduce refined carbs like maida, bread, biscuit, khari, rusk in the diet

- Replace ur cooking oil, shift to Cold-pressed oils (preferably coconut oil or homemade ghee)

- Avoid refined oil

- Include protein rich foods in the diet like - milk, curd, paneer, egg, chicken

- Avoid processed & packaged foods

- Early dinner

- Avoid alcohol and smoking

I am working in a software MNC for 10+ years. My company has been laying off people last couple of years as cost cutting measure. Now Management is putting undue pressure on me to resign to avoid paying severance. They are trying to implicate me in false PIP if I don't resign myself. What should I do?

Ans: Dismissal could be temporary, while termination is permanent.

Both can be on account of misconduct
