if you seek an IIT brand for life go for IIT Bhilai, a branch is compromised here.
SP & BITS both are good. BITS fees is higher. Both have good placements.

Hello Sir - My wife is homemaker and didn't do any job during last year. She invest in shares with "Streedhan" (money gifted from father) and earned 4 lakh last year as short term capital gain. She also earned 1 lakh as interest income from saving and FD accounts. Which ITR she should file and is there any exemption she can claim?

Ans: ITR 2 is applicable and last date for filing belated ITR for AY 2024-25 is 31.12.2024

Further, there is minimum exemption limit of 3 lacs and accordingly, only on 2 lacs tax of 15% will be levied.

There's a girl in my collage my classmate I am very obsessed with her and tried to talk to her always I proposed her very early and was rejected still instead of leaving her I always tried to talk to her and she's said multiple times she's not interested still I love her so much that I just can't let her go with each passing day our convos reduced and she ignored me a lot this is all a 2 month long story and this ignoring phase started 10-15 days ago what do I shall do now to get her back. Please help me I seriously want her back she's a great person.

Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I can't help you get her back, but I can help you understand boundaries. If she is saying she is not interested, the only clear conclusion from that statement is that "she is not interested." A no is a no. It does not mean "Convince me some more and I will change my mind." I am sure you are a great person and you will find someone amazing who is actually interested in you, but this woman is not the one. And what you are doing is not right. I would strongly urge you to move on and even if it hurts for a while, you should not be bothering her for that. Please respect her decision.

I 32F have been dating my boyfriend for about a year now. He has a young daughter from his previous marriage, and they share custody. I’ve been trying to get along with his ex-wife, but it’s been really difficult. She often contacts him for things that aren’t urgent and it feels like she’s overstepping into our relationship, especially when it comes to decisions about their daughter. I understand that they need to co-parent, but I feel like I’m always left out or made to feel uncomfortable. My boyfriend says he tries to balance everything, but sometimes I feel like his ex-wife has more influence in his life than me. How can I set healthy boundaries with her without causing tension, and how can I talk to my boyfriend about how I’m feeling without sounding like I’m being controlling?

Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand that you are in a tricky spot but it is important to understand that when it comes to their child, they have the right to make decisions and ignore everyone else's, even yours. You should keep your relationship and their co-parenting situation separate. Having said that, if you think your BF's ex is overstepping, communicate that to your partner, while letting him know that it bothers you and might even create friction in your relationship. An open and honest discussion is the only way around it. If expressing your discomfort is causing tension or considered ‘controlling,’ then you need to rethink the relationship.

I am sure your partner is truly trying to balance things, but since he is dating you, he should be aware of the areas where that balance is lacking. Communication is the only way.

Hello sir, i completed my BE in civil at 2014 and worked for 2and a half years as gest lecturer and then am married n settled in mumbai. Now am interested to go for job ,in which area i should prefer like civil construction side, lecturing side r any admin jobs. Willing to work in mumbai. Plz reply sir.

Sir I am studying mechanical engineering at bvb hubli but I want to join mit usa for mechanical engineering.i took loan for my studies ...should I study for engineering and asat for mit or only concentrate on engineering...please help me sir , because my family financially very poor I don't want my parents to struggle for my wishes and goals....but I want to be a best mechanical engineering

Ans: MIT ( Boston) is having world ranking 1 and fees are very high and acceptance criteria is very very low. So drop this fantasy and try for other universities of USA. Now a days in 99% US universities there is no funding in the 1st semester. If your financial condition is very poor then drop the plan of MS from USA right now. Complete your Mechanical Engg, save substantial amount and then try. Even in India you can prove yourself as one of the best Mechanical Engineers. While her wounds have healed, the scars are still very visible, and it’s starting to affect her confidence. She avoids wearing sleeveless clothes and feels conscious even around close family members. Can burn marks be fixed with cosmetic surgery? She is only 14 now. Will it completely remove the scars? Will it be a painful surgery?

Ans: Yes, the burn marks can be made better with cosmetic surgery. But we may not be able to get absolutely normal skin in most cases.
Only after a physical consultation, a proper comment can be made.

I have taken a group health insurance policy from a bank where I have a saving account five years ago without any medical checkup. I have not availed any claim and there was no preexisting disease. I am taking 5 mg of prednisolone daily for last five years for a skin disease. Will this affect my future claim if arises any? I am worried about this .

Insurance is an understanding that works on mutual trust.

You need to make appropriate disclosures before signing up and also before renewal, if you were diagnosed with any major illness/medical condition.

Please inform the insurance company about this before next renewal.

Dear Sir, i am 48 year old, kindly suggest some good plan to invest, i can invest roughly around 30000 for next 1 years with increase of 10% every year for next 7 years. I am looking for 1 crore to 3 crore saving. Till i reach 55 years, Would like to save for pension also suggest me good pension return plan

Ans: Hello;

An investment of 30 K with 10% top-up each year will be required to be continued for 10 years minimum to reach a corpus of 1 Cr(12% return considered from pure equity mutual funds).

You may invest in a combination of flexicap mutual fund and a Large and Midcap type mutual fund in proportion of 50:50.

For pension you may invest in NPS with active choice and maximum possible equity allocation. Contributions can continue upto 70 age.
