Should I take VIT CSE (Data science) MTech Integrated at Chennai or CSE IoT at SNU Chennai?
Ans: Both institutions offer distinct advantages with different career trajectories. VIT Chennai demonstrates superior placement performance with 3,160 total offers made during 2025 placements, including 2,192 unique offers and 936 super-dream offers above INR 10 LPA, while maintaining consistent placement records across 2023-2025 with top recruiters including Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and DE Shaw. VIT's MTech Integrated Data Science program requires 70% in PCM for Chennai campus admission and offers comprehensive curriculum covering machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics with strong industry connections. SNU Chennai CSE IoT shows promising but limited placement data with BCom students achieving 6.4 LPA highest package through 14 recruiters including Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and HCL Tech, though specific CSE IoT placement statistics remain unavailable. The Data Science market shows exceptional growth with 50% more demand than supply projected by 2026 and 21,000 new annual job openings, while IoT professionals face growing demand across healthcare, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. VIT's established reputation, larger alumni network, and proven track record in technical placements provide significant advantages over SNU's newer establishment since 2021. Recommendation: Choose VIT Chennai MTech Integrated CSE Data Science for its proven 80-90% placement record, superior industry connections, established reputation, and alignment with the rapidly expanding data science job market offering better long-term career prospects.

All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

My daughter failed in class 9th and now she has enrolled in NIOS secondary . There is lot of free time . What can she do keep herself busy?
Ans: Before I answer your question, Vikas Sir, I want to ensure that your daughter doesn't spend more than 45 minutes a day on her phone or other electronic devices. If your daughter becomes addicted, she risks eye strain, headaches from blue light, poor posture, weight gain from inactivity, sleep issues from late-night use, and eating problems. It can also hurt her mind by making her depressed and anxious (27% more likely), making it difficult to concentrate and study, making her feel lonely and isolated from less real interaction, making her feel low self-esteem from comparison traps, and making her stressed and irritable from dopamine crashes.

Even if both parents work, keep communication open to boost her confidence—know what she loves. She should study 4-5 hours daily using NIOS books/SWAYAM and Class 10 mocks with the Pomodoro technique (25-30 mins study, 5-10 mins break) to stay focused. Add 30 minutes of skills like coding/typing or Duolingo English if interested, plus 10 minutes of yoga, hobbies (gardening/cooking/drawing/poems), and walks/cycling for fitness and fun. Finally, join NIOS WhatsApp groups for doubts and help at home and track weekly goals with rewards. Don't force anything—let her choose what excites her most! All the BEST for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future!
