VIT Vellore Campus IT, Thapar Electronics and Computer Engineering, Manipal Communication and Computer, LNMIIT ECE, BITS Hyd Msc Bio. Which one to choose?

Ans: Choose VIT Vellore IT if your priority is top-tier placements and IT industry exposure. If you prefer core engineering with excellent placements, consider Thapar Electronics & Computer or Manipal Communication & Computer. For a focused, smaller campus experience, LNMIIT ECE is good. Choose BITS Hyderabad MSc Bio only if you want a research-oriented career in biology/biotech. All the best for your admissions and a bright future!

Sir, B tech IT in VIT vellore or B tech computer science engineering at SRM main compus. Which one i select .

Ans: Between B.Tech IT at VIT Vellore and B.Tech CSE at SRM Main Campus, both are reputable options with good infrastructure and placements. VIT Vellore has a stronger national brand and excellent placement support, but IT is slightly less preferred than CSE in the job market. SRM’s CSE branch is highly sought after, offering broader career opportunities and generally higher salary packages. If your priority is branch reputation and diverse software roles, SRM CSE is preferable. However, if you value campus environment (yet crowded), alumni network, and centralized placements, VIT Vellore IT is a solid choice. Ultimately, the decision should align with your career goals—choose SRM CSE for wider software and product roles, or VIT IT for a balanced education with strong industry ties. Got 51000 in VITEE. Can I get any banch in category 2 in main campus Vellore or should I wait for Delhi JAC counseling as I got 170867 rank in Delhi general female quota

Ans: At VITEEE 51,000, VIT Vellore Category 2 is highly unlikely for B.Tech; even lower-demand Vellore branches usually move to higher categories. Do not skip JAC Delhi. With JEE Main CRL 170,867, Delhi region, female, she has a realistic chance in IGDTUW lower/possibly tech branches in later rounds and may get DTU/NSUT lower branches only if cutoffs stretch. JAC publishes official round-wise OR-CR PDFs. Recommendation: Prefer JAC Delhi/IGDTUW over costly VIT high-category. Backup: VIT-AP/Bhopal, MAIT/MSIT/BVCOE through IPU. Ans: Rajesh Sir, At VITEEE rank 23,508, CSE with AI/AI-ML at VIT Vellore is very difficult, even in higher fee categories, because Vellore CSE/AI is among the most demanded branches. Realistic options are VIT Chennai CSE-specialisation may be borderline/high category, while VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal CSE/AI is much more realistic. All the Best for Your Son's rosperous Future!

Ans: At AEEE rank ~19,000, Mechanical at Amrita Coimbatore is likely, even if not in the best scholarship slab. EEE at Coimbatore is possible but borderline, especially for the other-state quota; a home-state advantage may improve chances. Trend data shows Coimbatore EEE around 6000–22000 for home-state and 4000–16000 for other-state, while Mechanical is around 7000–32000 home-state and 5000–22000 other-state. Ans: Prefer Amrita Coimbatore ECE if he is getting Scholarship Slab 1. At AEEE rank 1836, Coimbatore ECE is a strong option; Amrita’s 2026 official fee PDF shows Coimbatore ECE Scholarship Fee 1: ?1.5 lakh/year. It offers stronger national brand value, a wider peer group, a research ecosystem and better mobility outside Kerala.

I had retired from Govt. of Rajasthan in November, 2022. I was reopened GPF Account and my GPF Fund Rs. 35 lakhs had deposited. Now I want to know that is the accrued interest exampt from tax or not. After retirement for Rajasthan Government employes, GPF account can open contnue and all the retirement funds van deposit. Till date I have not been deposited any income tax.

My Daughter has scored 96.34 percentile in JEE Mains,she will be appearing for JEE advanced,she is more comfortable with Physics,and not keen to pursue computer science,can you suggest which branch of engineering can develop her interest towards physics

Ans: For a physics-oriented student not keen on CSE, the best branches are: Engineering Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials/Metallurgical, Energy Engineering, and Instrumentation. JoSAA’s official seat matrix includes Engineering Physics, Physics-integrated courses, Materials, VLSI, Mechanical and related programmes across IIT/NIT/GFTI options. In IITs, target Engineering Physics only if JEE Advanced rank is strong; otherwise, consider Mechanical/Materials/Electrical in newer IITs. In NITs, at around the 96.34 percentile, top NIT Physics-related branches may be tough, but Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, Metallurgy, Production, and instrumentation in mid/lower NITs or GFTIs may be realistic through JoSAA/CSAB. If possible, it is advisable to have the following backups: IISER BS-MS, B.Sc. Physics at DU/HCU/BHU, or private options like Shiv Nadar/Ashoka for physics. I have got 26k rank in jee mains. In which nit decent branch can i get andwi also got 2953,rank in vit but not interested in joining vit,I got 217 in bitsat 1st attempt and. I will.also be giving second attempt and now I will be giving jee advanced in which I am getting marks of range 120-150 in mock test, please guide me through which option i should go ahead

Ans: Chances are, you will get ECE/EE/Mechanical/Chemical in mid-tier NITs, and possibly CSE in newer NITs. Your best strategy is to focus fully on JEE Advanced and the second attempt at BITSAT, because IITs or BITS Pilani/Goa/Hyderabad (especially Circuital branches) would be significantly better long-term options than joining VIT or settling early for lower NIT branches.

My son got 75700 rank in VITEEE 2026, looking for CSE or ECE at Chennai VIT. Is there any possibility?

Ans: Chances of CSE are very slim to nil. However, ECE may still be possible in Categories 4–5, depending on the counselling round and seat availability. It is better to have an alternative ready as a backup.

Ans: Chances of VIT Vellore/Chennai seem slim. But you may get it at VIT-AP / Bhopal, depending on the counselling round and seat availability.

Sir. Greetings for the day! My daughter's rank is 9918 in AEEE-2026. We are looking for CSE or ECE in Coimbatore , Chennai & Bangalore. Please guide us and confirm the any possibility in getting above campus. Thanks.

Ans: At AEEE rank 9,918, Coimbatore CSE is tough/borderline, while Coimbatore ECE is possible but not guaranteed, especially if she is outside the Tamil Nadu home-state quota. Amrita’s official admission page confirms the 2026 B.Tech admissions/campuses, and Shiksha notes Amrita does not officially publish fixed opening/closing ranks, so rank predictions are expert-trend-based. The best chances are Chennai CSE/CSE-specialisation/ECE and Bengaluru ECE; Bengaluru CSE may be borderline. Recent trend analysis places Chennai CSE/ECE much more reachable around this rank than Coimbatore CSE.
Preference order: Coimbatore ECE > Bengaluru CSE/ECE > Chennai CSE-specialisation/CSE > Chennai ECE. Also keep Amritapuri CSE/ECE and 3-4 private colleges as backups. All the Best for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future!
