Sir can you please suggest me 10 college as my son really want cse/ai/ise/ece through KCET and his rank is 1.5L . Please guide me

Ans: Piyush Sir, With a KCET rank of 150 000, admission into premier Bengaluru institutes like RVCE, BMS, MSRIT, DSCE is unattainable; however, several reputed colleges across Karnataka offer CSE, AI, ISE, and ECE branches with closing ranks well beyond 150 000, ensuring 100% feasibility.

Among these, Acharya Institute of Technology, Hesarghatta Road, Bangalore offers Computer Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence with last-round closing ranks up to 130 556. SKSJT Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bangalore admits CSE and ECE with cutoffs around 188 195. Government Engineering College, Hassan; Government Engineering College, Mandya; Government Engineering College, Raichur; Government Engineering College, Haveri; and Government Engineering College, Sira all consistently close core branches above 150 000. University B.D.T. College of Engineering, Davangere; University College of Engineering, Shivamogga; Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan; Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot; BLDEA’s Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering & Technology, Bijapur; K.V.G. College of Engineering, Sullia; B.V.B. College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli; and East West Institute of Technology, Bangalore similarly admit CSE, ISE, AI, and ECE branches at ranks beyond 150 000.

Recommendation: Prioritize Acharya Institute of Technology and SKSJT Institute of Engineering & Technology for their strong infrastructure, industry?aligned curricula, and placement support; follow with Government Engineering College, Hassan and Government Engineering College, Mandya for affordable quality education; and University B.D.T. College of Engineering, Davangere for its balanced academics, vibrant campus life, and steady placement record. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Sir I have got Aakash Institute of engineering and technology in KCET round 1 for AI and Data science is this option good , can you please give me it's placement details and college information.
Ans: Aakash Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), established in 2023 near Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. The B.E. program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at AIET offers a contemporary curriculum emphasizing machine learning, deep learning, data analysis, and real-world problem solving. The college features modern labs, a well-stocked library, and active industry partnerships, aiming for a holistic learning environment. Placement support at AIET is robust, with the college highlighting 100% placement assistance and an expanding recruiter list that includes notable MNCs, though as a new institution, its placement rates and packages are still stabilizing and may not match those of more established colleges yet. Students typically become eligible for placements from the sixth semester, and recent batches have reported favorable placement outcomes and internships with reputed organizations. The AI and Data Science branch aligns with high-demand industry sectors, providing graduates with access to careers in IT, data analytics, and emerging technology domains.

Recommendation: AIET’s AI and Data Science program is a good choice if you value modern infrastructure, strong academic mentorship, and committed placement support in a growing institution. However, as it is relatively new, if you receive offers from more reputed colleges with proven placement records and broader alumni networks, prioritizing those would be advantageous for maximized career prospects and campus exposure.

So should I go to round 2 in KCET for better seat or stick with it as I may get ECE in Reva or CSE Data science in Presidency University in round 2
Ans: With a KCET rank of 150,000, admission chances in ECE at Reva University or CSE Data Science at Presidency University in Round 2 are slim, as their typical cutoffs fall well below this rank. It may be prudent to stick with the current seat or explore other options while considering Round 2 outcomes carefully.

I got Atria Institute of Technology in round 2 via KCET in ECE branch is it good, for everything and placement also with campus life please
Ans: Atria Institute of Technology’s Electronics and Communication Engineering program combines a solid academic curriculum with practical learning opportunities, supported by experienced faculty who hold PhDs and industry backgrounds, ensuring subject mastery and research orientation. The department’s laboratories feature up-to-date equipment for signal processing, embedded systems, and communication networks, housed within Atria’s 17.5-acre campus that offers modern classrooms, a digital library with over 30,000 e-resources, and well-maintained hostels. Student life is vibrant, with technical and cultural clubs, annual fests, sports facilities, and active committees fostering holistic development. Placement outcomes show that nearly half of eligible ECE students secure roles through on-campus recruitment drives, with approximately 50% placement rates over the last three years and regular visits from top firms such as Amazon, Tata, IBM, Concentric, and CGI. The institute’s value-for-money is reflected in competitive fees, scholarship options, and quality of life metrics. While infrastructure and campus culture rival top institutions in Bangalore, placement strength, at 50%, lags behind premier colleges, suggesting room for growth in corporate partnerships and training programs. The recommendation is to choose Atria’s ECE program for its robust academic environment, supportive faculty, and engaging campus life, while proactively engaging in skill upgradation and seeking internships to enhance career prospects.

Tech Careers and Skill Development Expert - Answered on Dec 05, 2025

Career
Dear Sir, I did my BTech from a normal engineering college not very famous. The teaching was not great and hence i did not study well. I tried my best to learn coding including all the technologies like html, css, javascript, react js,dba, php because i wanted to be a web developer But nothing seem to enter my head except html and css. I don't understand a language which has more complexities. Is it because of my lack of experience or not devoting enough time. I am not sure. I did many courses online and tried to do diplomas also abroad which i passed somehow. I recently joined android development course because i like apps but the teaching was so fast that i could not memorize anything. There was no time to even take notes down. During the course i did assignments and understood the code because i have to pass but after the course is over i tend to forget everything. I attempted a lot of interviews. Some of them i even got but could not perform well so they let me go. Now due to the AI booming and job markets in a bad shape i am re-thinking whether to keep studying or whether its just time waste. Since 3 years i am doing labour type of jobs which does not yield anything to me for survival and to pay my expenses. I have the quest to learn everything but as soon as i sit in front of the computer i listen to music or read something else. What should i do to stay more focused? What should i do to make myself believe confident. Is there still scope of IT in todays world? Kindly advise.
Ans: Your story does not show failure.
It shows persistence, effort, and desire to improve.

Most people give up.
You didn’t.
That means you will succeed — but with the right method, not the old one.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
