SUKHVINDER Question by SUKHVINDER on May 27, 2025
Career

My son has secured 57.75 percent in commerce stream and is an average student. He has got admission in JIIT Noida for pursuing BBA 4-year course and has also been selected in JIMS Vasant Kunj for pursuing BBA. Which is better JIIT Noida or JIMS VK.

Ans: Sukhvinder Sir, For a student with 57.75% in commerce and average academic performance, choosing between JIIT Noida (4-year BBA) and JIMS Vasant Kunj (3-year BBA) depends on career goals and preferences. JIMS Vasant Kunj, affiliated with GGSIPU, has a stronger reputation in management education with better industry exposure and higher placement packages, including internships with reputed companies like Dabur and Coca-Cola. It offers a focused 3-year BBA curriculum with active placement support and relatively affordable fees. JIIT Noida, while having good infrastructure and a longer 4-year program, is more technology-oriented and has moderate placements with lower salary averages. Its private university status offers flexibility but less brand recognition in management compared to JIMS. Considering your son’s commerce background and desire for a management career, JIMS Vasant Kunj is the better choice for stronger placement prospects, industry connections, and focused management education. However, if your son prefers a longer program with a technical edge, JIIT Noida can be considered. Overall, for commerce students aiming for quality management education and placements, JIMS Vasant Kunj is recommended. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!
