I secured 49000 rank in jee should I take admission in ip university delhi cse or thapar computer engineering i have secured 2800 rank in met so i am also getting btech in cse in mit manipal(main branch). What should i choose? I have no financial problems

You are eligible to appear for JEE 2026. Your eligibility starts from 2024, the year you passed Mathematics. For example, you can appear for JEE (Main) 2026 but not JEE (Adv) 20226. Only two attempts are permitted from the year you passed 12th. That means one attempt in 2024 and another in 2025.

In 2024, SSGMCE’s Electronics & Telecom closing percentile was 90.39 and Mechanical 85.26, whereas MIT Alandi’s Electronics & Telecom closed at 84.51 and Mechanical at 78.07. Pune University–affiliated engineering colleges similarly demand percentiles above 80 for these branches. With a 50.44 percentile, admission to Electronics or Mechanical BE/BTech at any of these institutions is unfeasible.

Recommendation: Consider colleges with closing percentiles nearer to your score, such as lesser-known Pune University–affiliated institutes offering Mechanical or Electronics with cutoffs around 50–60 percentile, or private colleges under Pune University with TFW/management quota options to secure a suitable branch and location.
