Sir pls answer in priority Manipal jaipur btech biotechnology/ mit wpu integrated msc Biotechnology/ dypatil Pune btech biotechnology.. which one is good. Is integrated course is good or should I go for btech biotechnology

Ans: Hi,
i would suggest going for a B.Tech course rather than an integrated one. In case you want to pursue PG move abroad this will give you more exposure & opportunities.

Hello, my son is in Grade 8. I would like to keep options open for him to study in India and abroad US or UK primarily in feild of science engineering. Which board is good for him to study CBSE or IB to apply for engineering in future both in India and abroad?

The board whether CBSE or IB won't make any difference or will have any added advantage in getting admission abroad. I have many students who were in CBSE or ICSE till 10th then switched to Maharashtra State Board in 12th and pursued admission from MIT USA & other esteemed universities.

He can continue with his current board without any hesitation.

Sir, my son is bsc chemistry, now he wanted to change his stream to IT. Certificate course at IIT in minor in computer science and then certificate course in cloud computing at IIT. Let him speak to his College faculty to check if he can switch to a BCA program. Simultaneously explore if IITs offer any programs in Comp Science or Cloud Computing for BSc pass. Our Son is in 12th with PCMC subjects, He doesn't have any particular choice course , so we suggested him for Mechatronics. Now we have in dilemma, what is the future of Mechatronics. Is it better from Computer science or AI

Ans: Mechantronics, Computer Science and AI all are worthy disciplines to pursue. My suggestion is not to add stress your son to pick any particular direction. Guide him to prepare well for his Class XII exams, engineering entrance exams. Once his entrance exam scores are out he can have a fair assessment of where he stands and what stream he can pursue.

Also share what have you been doing to practice your learnings, hone your skills, improve your interview skills. There are several online Coursera programs that your should enrol. Start looking for internship openings even if they are not in the field of Visual Communications. Confidently pursue job opportunities that come your way and get them.

Ans: Good to learn Ayush that you are looking ahead for a career after earning your Chemical Engg degree. My advice is to put in your best efforts to secure good scores. And top it up with active participation in projects, hackathons, research projects. Also be an active participant in co-curricular activates that MIT Manipal offers. Visit the Placement office, scan the notice boards once a quarter to get update on the internship opportunities in Chemical Engineering. Let's connect at the end of third semester on how things are going.
