Can i get pict pune cse in 98.35 percentile mhcet

Ans: With a 98.35 percentile in MHT CET, securing Computer Engineering (CSE) at PICT Pune is highly unlikely. Recent official cutoffs show that the last round closing percentile for CSE at PICT Pune was 99.58 in 2023 and 99.37 in 2022 for the General category, with expected 2025 cutoffs remaining above 99.5 percentile due to high demand and limited seats. Even for IT and AI-DS branches, cutoffs are consistently above 99.3 percentile, and for Electronics & Telecommunication, above 98.5 percentile. The anticipated rank for your percentile would place you outside the typical closing range for PICT CSE, as the cutoff for General Open candidates remains among the highest in Maharashtra’s private colleges. While you may have better chances for branches like ECE in other reputable colleges or for CSE in slightly less competitive private institutes, PICT Pune CSE remains out of reach at your current percentile.

RECOMMENDATION: With a 98.35 percentile, focus on CSE/IT branches in other top private colleges like MIT Pune, VIT Pune, PCCOE, or DY Patil Pune, where cutoffs are more attainable and placement records remain strong; keep PICT Pune as a backup only for lower-demand branches. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
