Sir I am a pcb student and I will appear for isolated maths in Feb 2025 . So will I be able to fill mht cet pcm ? Because the eligibility criteria say physics and mathematics are compulsory

Ans: Hello dear.
You are eligible to fill out the MHT-CET form based on PCM. Please ensure that the Mathematics marks (sheet) are available by the time of the MHT CET application process or at least before the document verification phase during admission. If this is done, then you can take the admission for further course of your choice.

You are eligible for engineering admission in 2025, provided you must clear the state engineering entrance test with the required score. In the past, many students did the same exercise successfully. Now, focus more on mathematics.

I have completed my 12th with PCB and planning to give isolated maths exam to be eligible for engineering colleges. I will also be giving Mhtcet. But the issue is that some colleges will not be accepting Isolated math exam's marksheet separately. I had emailed MIT wpu but they too said that they'll only accept 12th marksheet with main subjects as PCM and not a separate maths marksheet.

Ans: Transitioning from a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) background to engineering can be challenging, especially regarding eligibility criteria related to Mathematics. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) requires candidates to have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, or Vocational subjects. Some colleges may not recognize additional Mathematics qualifications separately. Namaskar Guruji, thanks for your initial answer. As you mentioned in your earlier one of the answer that for the PCB candidate, Maths subject can be done seperately as a bridge course in which will be accepted by Maharastra University, if it so, shall we get details about the same to attend within this academic year 2025 to get eligibility for the engineering.

With a 77.8 percentile in JEE Mains as an SC student from Nagaland, you might have a chance at securing a CSE or ECE seat in a non-top NIT, especially if you are a home-state candidate.
