I have passed in chemistry and biology and other three subject from my state board and now I am passing physics from nios then am eligible for neet??

Ans: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has confirmed that studying Physics through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is permissible for NEET UG examinations, as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 2023. Students can also study an additional subject from NIOS, provided it is conducted through authorized institutions. Completing Physics through NIOS, along with other state board subjects, meets the eligibility criteria for NEET UG. All the BEST for your Bright Future.

Hello, I have completed my 10th-12th class from abroad and I am preparing for NEET 2023. The school followed American Credit system and I have school graduation certificate and my grades were accepted by CBSE equivalence. However, I am concerned regarding the eligibility criteria for NEET as I had Chemistry in only 11th, Physics in only 12th and Bio in 10th and 12th standard due to the school system offering separate courses each year. I did not have PCB in a single year but I have completed all PCB high-school equivalent courses. Am I still eligible? If not, then what should I do? Is NIOS an option for me?

Ans: Hi
In my understanding, NEET eligibility requires one to have taken Physics, Chem and Bio in one sitting. Since that is not an option in your case, I would suggest you reach out to some med schools that you aspire to attend and explain this situation to them. Many a times, they agree. If nothing works, complete the NIOS with all three subjects in one sitting.
In all probability, it should not be an issue if it has been considered a CBSE equivalent.

To appear for the NEET Exam, candidates must be at least 17 years old. There is no upper age limit as per the Supreme Court's order. You are eligible to appear for NEET 2025.

Ans: Decide if you want to take JEE again or join a college this year.
Look at state counseling options for government colleges.
Consider private universities with good placement records.
If you want to switch fields, look at BCA, B.Sc. Data Science, or professional courses.

Ans: With 93.10 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 and OBC-NCL category, your son's expected category rank would be around 40,000 - 45,000 (CRL) and 10,000 - 12,000 (OBC-NCL Rank).
Yes, he has a chance of getting a seat in lower branches in Tier-2 NITs, especially in later rounds of JoSAA and CSAB counseling.
