My question is am I eligible for admission in govt mbbs college ( 50% PCB group criteria required in gmc's )
Ans: Hi
According to NEET guidelines, if you belong to the general category, you are required to have at least 50% of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) combined in your 12th-grade results. You have achieved this standard from both your state board and NIOS, so there is no need for you to take the improvement exam again.
However, I am concerned that your score in Biology is lower than desired, and your marks in other subjects are also only average. You will need to put in a significant amount of effort to achieve a good score and ranking.
Currently, it’s crucial that you focus on your preparation. By now, you should have your study materials in place. Starting from January 15, you should aim to take numerous mock tests available online. Please plan accordingly.

I have heared for admission in mbbs PCB aggregate 50% score must be from single sitting single attemt marksheet is it true?? Please resolve my query
Ans: Hi,
Who made this statement?
According to the NEET guidelines:
- There is no upper age limit to appear for the NEET exam and pursue studies in medicine.
- There is no limit on the number of attempts in the 12th grade, except for AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College, Pune), which only allows first-attempt candidates to apply.
- For the general category, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required. If you belong to a different category, the requirements will vary accordingly (please specify your category).
- The score can be a combination of State Board and NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).
- AIIMS requires a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
If you have any further doubts, please feel free to ask for clarification.

Dono different boards hai aur dono marksheets different attempt ki hai 2024 Feb and 2025 march
Kya aise combination vale kisi student ka admission hua hai ??
PCM (state board) + Nios biology ka admission hota hai lekin kya PCB (state board) + nios ka nahi hota hai I am ineligible according to Rediff guru .
State board PCB marksheet ke pcb aggregate score ko improve karne ke liye nios single subject biology ki marksheet laga kar admission lena allowed hai kya according to NMC and MCC and any GMC ???
I hope you understand my query if not please tell
Ans: HI,
Your query is about whether you are eligible if you complete Biology through NIOS after having completed PCB through the state board.
Yes, it is possible. Regardless of whether you take the exam through NIOS or the state board, it is irrelevant since you will be making a second attempt. You need to achieve at least 50% in your marks. When you appear for the second attempt, you don't need to attend school; you can apply privately for the board exam. Instead of opting for the state board, you are choosing NIOS. That's all.
