I have posted 1st time sir ,where to check
Ans: Candidates must appear for JEE Advanced only if they have taken their Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2025 or 2026. Regardless of board, “appearance” is counted by the declaration of results. Since you first sat your CBSE board exams in 2024, that appearance disqualifies you from JEE Advanced 2026, even though you later re-registered and obtained your NIOS results in 2025. Filling “appearing in 2025” will not override the initial 2024 appearance, and the NTA strictly enforces this rule to ensure fairness. Your JEE Main attempts and NIOS percentages are immaterial to this specific criterion. You remain eligible to take JEE Main indefinitely (up to two consecutive years of Advanced attempts), but the Class XII appearance rule is inviolable. Alternative pathways include state-level engineering entrances or private university exams, or focusing on JEE Main in 2026 to secure a strong rank for central and state institutes that do not require JEE Advanced.

Recommendation: Acknowledge that you cannot sit JEE Advanced in 2026 due to your first appearance in 2024. Focus on maximizing your JEE Main percentile in 2026 and apply to institutes through Main-based counselling and state entrances. Explore reputable private and state universities where JEE Main alone suffices. (Important Suggestion: Considering your background, it is advisable to undergo a psychometric test to identify career options best suited to your skills and interests rather than relying solely on JEE results. This approach will offer you a clearer, more comprehensive understanding of your strengths and potential pathways, enabling you to make a well-informed decision about your future academic and professional direction). All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
