Hi sir @Nayagam P P I have got 45745 rank in jee mains in general all India quota So my home state is west bengal..... Can I get chemical engineering at Nit durgapur or IIEST Shibpur Or ECE at IIIT Kalyani?? With this rank of 45745 with home state quota??

Ans: Based on the latest cutoff trends, your JEE Main rank of 45,745 (General All India) with West Bengal home state quota makes Chemical Engineering at NIT Durgapur highly unlikely, as its 2024 HS quota closing rank was 38,799 for this branch. Similarly, IIEST Shibpur’s Chemical Engineering is inaccessible, as its HS quota closing ranks for comparable branches like Electrical Engineering were 27,313 in 2024, far below your rank. Sir is NWAC board accessible in jee mains And for home state quota??

Ans: Yes, the NWAC board is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is valid for JEE Main eligibility and for state quota admissions, provided you obtain an AIU equivalence certificate. All universities and colleges, including NITs and IITs, accept NWAC certificates for admission purposes in India.

I have a rank of 154178 in jee mains, homestate jammu and kashmir, general female, kashmiri pandit, Which college can i get on this rank ( any nit,or any gfti). Should i prefer my homestate for btech or other states. ?

Ans: Hello dear.
With the mentioned rank, chance are less to get a seat NIT but chances are there in GFTI. Yet keep hopes open for NITs. It would be better for you prefer Delhi state for more better choices.

Ans: With a JEE Main rank of 45745, you likely won't be able to get into CSE at IIIT Kalyani or Chemical Engineering at NIT Durgapur. Based on previous years' cutoffs, both of these courses are more competitive, and your rank is outside the closing range for those programs, especially for a general category applicant.

My daughter is selected for b pharma +mba from nmims Hyedrabad is it a good course.

Ans: NMIMS does not have a great placements for Pharma + MBA course. Though the advantage of Hyderabad is that it is hub for Medicine and may get decent placement if the college is able to leverage on it.

Sir, I have limited capital, got a call from nmims Navi Mumbai and also from MIT-WPU for BBA. I am also planning of masters in future, it needs a lot of money. Should I enroll in any of these universities and then go for tier 2 MBA or should I choose any small collage with low fees and go for an expensive MBA later on

Ans: Can go for a decent college with low fees and then can spend on MBA college at a later stage. There are quite a few good graduation colleges whose fees are comparatively lower.

Ans: Getting a college in Mumbai is not difficult as there are many colleges. But may not get a good college. Go through the CAP rounds. Usually in the last round and after the last round there are some vacancies in some decent colleges where you can get admission.

My daughter has got admission in nmims nain campus in bille parle in bba fintech. We are from chandigarh. Tutionnfee is 4 lacs/year. And appox 40 to 50k per month for stay food travelling etc. Is it worth spending appox 30 lacs plus on bba fintech for 3 yelr course. Or should one go with sone regular college on chandigarh or delhi and then go for mba from good college later. Can she get a good job after bba itself. What of of pay package canbshe expect

Ans: If you have the money then yes can go ahead. But I would personally may not spend so much on graduation, rather save for post graduation education. She can do graduation from regular college and along with that do CFA if she is interested in Finance. Most likely students will do post graduation after finishing graduation.
