Your child is just in 9th. You are saying he is interested in PCM i.e. mathematics and claims that he will not be able to crack JEE. The IQ of a child changes continuously. It is a hurry to predict what will happen when he will be in 12th grade. The students who are weak at schooling, do better in 12th grade. It is also not feasible to explore the options that are available after 1the 2th before 4 years. The education system is changing day by day and more options are available to the students every year. I would like to suggest as: (1) Please focus on his schooling syllabus (2) Try to improve his mathematics skills (3) ASk him to appear for all types of competitive exams held at the schooling level. (4) Join in foundation IIT course (5) Take a brief review of his 10th grade score and his understanding level. At last, no need to take the unnecessary tension at this stage.
