Sir, i am lloking for good boarding school with CBSE curriculum in Karnataka for 11th and 12th standard. Please advise. Thanks

There are a lot of a lot of Board Schools in Karnataka. Which Boarding School will depend upon several factors, applicable to you / your child.

To choose a suitable Boarding School with CBSE Syllabus, please follow the steps mentioned below:

1) In Karnataka itself, which locations do you prefer?
2) Shortlist 2-3 locations maximum, taking into consideration travel/need to meet the child in case of any emergency
3) Just google with 'location boarding school cbse' (for example, 'bengaluru cbse boarding school')
4) Go through 5-10 results of the site.
5) Check the Fees / Reviews / Rating, if any / Year of Establishment / Past Results / Hostel Facilities / Playground / Medical Facilities / Quality of Food / Quality of Teaching / Atmosphere.
6) You cannot get all the information mentioned above, but if you got most of the important information for you, shortlist those (around 7-8) schools.
7) Some of the reviews MIGHT be biased/unreliable.
8) Directly visit each school and ask the Admission Department to allow you go around the School Campus and interact with some students.
9) If you are outside Karnataka or abroad, request any of your relatives / friends in India to visit the School.
10) It is advisable to take the child also to each school as the child's psychological satisfaction is more important.
11) Whenever you (or anyone) visit the school, have a CHECKLIST of Questions (I have mentioned in Point No.5 to ask the School Staff to get a clear picture of the School.
12) One more important point to keep in mind is that whether you want to prepare your child for any Entrance Exams for UG in India such as JEE, NEET, etc.
13) If yes, check how the School is providing Coaching for the same. Whether it has any tie-up with any Coaching Center? What about the timings/fees for the same?
14) In case of any EMERGENCY, is any friend/relative available in the same location or not?
