Hi. Iam 40 yrs old. Currently iam into construction business in patnership with my Father in law. Iam facing issues in working with my father in law and the problem seems to deepen and iam no longer willing to work with him . I have now 8years experience in construction business mostly backend operations and management. I have Btech (ECE),MBA Marketing degree. I need career direction as in construction i dont have any contact with clients or references where i can get work..Should i apply for job ? and in which sector should i apply?

Ans: Considering your 8 years of experience in construction backend operations and management, along with a B.Tech (ECE) and MBA in Marketing, it's reasonable to explore job opportunities. Apply your project management, operations, and marketing skills to roles in the construction industry, real estate, or infrastructure development. Seek positions that leverage your expertise, possibly in project management, business development, or marketing within construction firms or related industries—network within your professional circles and industry events to build contacts. Transitioning to a role with client interactions could provide a new direction for your career, allowing you to utilise both your technical and managerial skills.
