How is NIT patna hostel for 1st year electrical student and the classes will be in main campus or Bihta campus?

Ans: NIT Patna provides fully residential accommodation for first-year Electrical Engineering students in on-campus hostels, typically in the Sone Hostel block reserved for freshers, offering single-, twin- and multi-seater rooms, 24×7 security and CCTV monitoring, uninterrupted water and power, high-speed Wi-Fi, centralized mess, common rooms, indoor recreation and solar-powered water heating. Academic activities for all B.Tech cohorts currently occur at the Ashok Rajpath main campus, where classrooms, labs and central facilities are located; the new Bihta campus (125 acres) under HEFA funding is still under phased construction and will not host first-year classes in 2025–26. However, it is advisable to personally visit the campus before the classes start to confirm this. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

When will Electrical at NIT Patna shift in new bihta campus? (As I been alloted EE at nit patna this year )

Ans: Hi Arnav,

These days, the younger generation seems to be worse than politicians. You didn't even report to the institute before joining, and already you've started causing issues. There will be many technical challenges in shifting from the old campus to the new one. This is not a private college where everything can be moved immediately, regardless of feasibility. This is NIT, so please be patient.

If you are so particular about the situation, I suggest you consider getting admission after the shift to the new campus. This way, other candidates can benefit from the current setup. I believe this would be a better option for you.

He can secure seats through REAP in lower-tier government or private engineering colleges in Rajasthan, specifically in branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
Let him pursue either mechanical or electrical, because after 4 years the demand FOR MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL may increase. This is my prediction.
