Hi, How many attempts are allowed for JEE- Mains and/or JEE-Advanced as per the education/govt policy (for the next 1-2 years) ? Thank you

Ans: Hello AV,
As of the year 2023 the eligibility criteria was like

"Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2023." precisely it comes 3 attempts.

Ans: Abdul, 3-Consecutive Years you can appear for JEE. But your 12th percentage is not enough to be eligible to appear for JEE. Please find out some other options than preparing / appearing for JEE. All the BEST for Your Bright Future.

If my JEE advanced attempts exhausted, will I get extra attempts for JEE advanced if I repeat my either 10th,11th and 12th or only 12th?

why one will have to pay tax at all if there is no income tax for those earning up to Rs 12 lakh per annum?

Ans: Technically there is no tax if taxable income upto 12 lakh (except special rate income), as you get rebate equivalent to tax charged. So you have to calculate tax as per slab rate first and reduce tax liability by way of rebate.
