I studied for JEE but JEE was a failure and I got 92 percent in boards. Now my family want me to pursue engineering but I am not sure that I will be a good engineer or reach to that level. Note - Except JEE I never saw failure in academics. I am quite good in Political science, History , business and Accounting too (since I belong to a business family). Will you please suggest me whether It will be good to pursue Engineering from Thapar University or I should resist my family decision and pursue CA or something like it in commerce stream now. You have a chance in newer or remote NITs (Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, etc.) or newer IIITs (Bhagalpur, Una, Dharwad, Kalyani, etc.), often in non-CS branches. Stick with YMCA ECE unless you see a real opportunity at CS in an IIIT/NIT you prefer; otherwise, the CSAB fee isn’t worth it.
