Hello sir my son got CSE in vit AP. 2 category , and robotics in Amrita Banglore . And he is dilema wether to choose any of these colleges or take drop . Well he is more interested in drop itself what should I suggest him

Ans: Hi Dinesh.
Your suggestion should depend on your financial status (current and future both) only. Your son is quite grown up to decide for himself, because he knows his status quo, as he has come to the capacity of reaching upto VIT(CSE).
If he decides to go in for coaching outside, it's better to join Amrita/VIT otherwise you get some more time to gather resources for his better future.
If he takes a drop and chooses self-study then encourage that and get his some standard books to prepare.
Talk to him about how much of syllabus he has covered by last year, and go ahead with drop(if it's > 60%).
