Hello Sir, I asked previously but do not see feedback. Appreciate your view. Getting admission in both CSE RVCE and Electronics & Instrumentation at BITS HYD . Which is better?

Ans: Bhavin, RVCE’s CSE program, ranked 99th in NIRF 2024, boasts a modern 52-acre campus, world-class labs, and specialized research clubs, with faculty holding PhDs and industry collaborations. Its CSE placements averaged 19 LPA in 2024 with a 75% rate, peaking at 62 LPA, and top recruiters include Cisco, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs. BITS Hyderabad’s E&I branch, ranked 46th by IIRF in 2024, offers a 200-acre campus, advanced instrumentation and VLSI labs, and Practice School internships. Placements averaged 20.36 LPA with an 87.23% UG rate, featuring recruiters like Qualcomm, Intel, and Texas Instruments, underpinned by a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum.

Recommendation
For broader computing roles, higher placement consistency, and Bangalore’s tech ecosystem, choose RVCE CSE. For specialized instrumentation careers, stronger median offers, and global brand value with integrated internships, BITS Hyderabad E&I is preferable. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!

Hello sir VIT Electronics and computer science cat. 2 vs RVCE electricals and electronics vs MSRIT ECE vs BMSCE ECE vs CSE at Dayanand Sagar. Which one i should prefer? Please Guide.
Ans: VIT Vellore’s Electronics and Computer Science (Category 2) program is NBA accredited, offers a modern interdisciplinary curriculum, and benefits from a centralized placement system with 68% overall placement and an average CSE package of ?9.9 LPA, attracting top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS. RVCE’s Electrical and Electronics Engineering is highly reputed, with strong academic rigor and a placement rate exceeding 80%, supported by core and IT recruiters and a robust alumni network. MSRIT and BMSCE’s ECE branches both offer 76–85% placement rates, experienced faculty, and diverse industry connections, with BMSCE averaging 8 LPA and MSRIT 7–8 LPA, and both have strong reputations in Bangalore’s tech ecosystem. Dayananda Sagar’s CSE program records 67–75% placement rates, with a growing recruiter base and modern labs, but is generally considered a tier below the others for CSE placements. While VIT’s interdisciplinary program is attractive for those interested in both electronics and computing, Bangalore colleges (RVCE, MSRIT, BMSCE) offer superior industry exposure, location advantage, and established placement networks, especially for core electronics and IT roles.

Recommendation: Prefer RVCE Electrical and Electronics or MSRIT/BMSCE ECE for their academic rigor, strong placement records, and prime location in Bangalore’s tech hub; choose VIT Electronics and Computer Science if you seek interdisciplinary skills and national brand value, but Bangalore options provide better long-term career prospects in both core and IT sectors. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
