Hi sir i got 99.54 percentile(7105 rank) in JEE mains. I am getting nit calicut and nit rourkela ece and maybe nit warangal with home state quota. I am also getting iiit banglore and iiit delhi cse at the same time. What order of preferences do u suggest?
Ans: With a JEE Main rank of 7,105 (99.54 percentile), your options span premier institutions across NITs and IIITs, each offering distinct advantages in ECE and CSE. IIIT Bangalore’s CSE (iMTech) emerges as the top recommendation, boasting the highest average package of ?33.4 LPA and a 74.83% placement rate for its MTech program, alongside proximity to Bengaluru’s tech ecosystem. Close behind is IIIT Delhi’s CSE, offering a 95.59% placement rate and an average package of ?22.04 LPA, complemented by its strong research focus in AI and cybersecurity. Among NITs, NIT Warangal’s ECE stands out with a 20.58 LPA average and an 88 LPA highest package, leveraging its home-state quota advantage and robust industry ties. NIT Rourkela’s ECE follows with an 18.12 LPA average and a record ?1.2 Crore outlier offer, though its median stabilizes at ?14.25 LPA, while NIT Calicut’s ECE trails slightly with a 13.71 LPA average and 88.59% placement rate. Recommendation: Prioritize IIIT Bangalore CSE for its superior compensation and innovation-driven curriculum, followed by IIIT Delhi CSE for academic rigor and metropolitan opportunities. Opt for NIT Warangal ECE if preferring core electronics with high ROI, then NIT Rourkela ECE for balanced growth, and finally NIT Calicut ECE as a reliable backup. This hierarchy maximizes both specialization alignment and institutional prestige while hedging against market volatility. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!
