Hello sir/madam, I am now 17 years old, I have done my 10 th, I am good in physics and maths , I am not getting good advice,my family says me to choose pcm ,what stream should I choose for a good job in future? Thank you sir/madam

Ans: Go for PCM. Since you love Physics and Chemistry your interest in Chemistry may be slightly less. Complete 12th Standard with PCM and then seek further guidance. Professor

I have cleared my 10th board with 95% I am ensured with stream to choose PCM or PCB I don't know which field I am better suited for sometimes I like maths and sometimes biology I have I don't know which field I am interested in. I do also love physics. my parents also give me a full freedom to choose a stream that I prefer can you please give me some suggestions?

Ans: Sit comfortably and detach from your books and notes for three days. No mobile, no Laptop, no guest. Just stay with yourself for three days and ask yourself whether you want to be doctor/computer engineer/Biotechnology professional/B.Pharm/Mechanical Engineer/ MBA. You will surely get the answer.

My class 10th exams with 95% overall I score 99 in biology 92 and mathematics I prefer both subject equally I have a keen interest in physics(95%) I'm struggling to choose between PCM and bcb in class 11th because I am not sure whether I am better suited for biology or mathematics in West Bengal student prayer prefer PC MB but I feel might concerned about handling the pressure of 4 core subjects have already advised me to go for PCM for engineering and PCB for medical but my problem is I am not able to understand that I am should I go for biology or should I go for math with PCM of PCB can you please suggest what stream might be more suitable for me considered considering my strength and interest?

Sir, I passed my Class 12th in the 2023–24 session with very low marks because at that time I did not know about JEE. After that, for two years I worked in the finance field with my uncle. Later, due to my interest in engineering, I wanted to get admission to a good engineering college. That is when I came to know about IIT JEE 2026. When I checked the JEE eligibility criteria, I saw the 75% requirement, but because my health was not good during my board exams, my marks were very low. So, I am reappearing for Class 12th in the 2025–26 session. My question is: will I be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced?

Ans: No. You are not eligible for JEE (Adv). You have already used two attempts (i.e., 2024 and 2025), whether or not you appeared does not matter. Only two successive attempts are allowed for a candidate who clears the 12th grade in a particular year. You cleared your 12th grade in 2024.

Suggestion- Instead of running behind JEE exams, take admission to any good engineering college via a state-level engineering entrance test, which is easier than JEE.

I am a retired person 65 years. Sold a property . After paying LTCG tax , I will have 1.25 Cr to invest. Q1 - Should I pay LTCG tax and invest balance or avail 54c limit of 50 lakhs and invest balance. Q2- Pls suggest investment so that I get 1lakh per month.

Ans: For your question no. 1 please consult a tax consultant or a Chartered Accountant. Regarding earning Rs 1 L per month, you may need to contact a Certified Financial Planner and/or Certified Investment Adviser as at present it is not feasible to earn Rs 1 L per month on your proposed investment from the Fixed Income Instruments like Bank FDs. Therefore you need to plan and look for other investment options like Mutual Fund etc, however you should note that MF Investments are subject to market risks etc.

Ans: About your shifting the job, I am not the right person to guide you. However as you wish to retire after 8 years, it can be discussed with a certified financial planner after taking all the required input about your past investments, present status of such investments, your life goals and prospects of increase in your incomes going forward. Choosing a mutual fund will come after having completed that exercise. SBI & ICICI are definitely bigger mutual fund companies but there are around 45 MF companies at present in India.
