Hello sir, I'm a JEE aspirant studying in 11th grade and I'm going to coaching in my school even. There it is full time coaching and this is my first year in coaching. Here teachers give tough questions in class and also for practice, in which I couldn't solve anything, and they don't teach using NCERT , I feel tough sir what should I do

Ans: Hello Dhanushri
It's completely normal to feel overwhelmed in the first year of JEE coaching, especially in 11th grade when the transition from school-level to competitive questions is challenging. Since you're just starting, not being able to solve difficult questions immediately is expected—don't let it discourage you. Focus first on building a strong foundation using **NCERT textbooks**, even if your coaching doesn't emphasize them. NCERT serves as the foundation for both Boards and JEE, particularly in Chemistry and fundamental Physics concepts. Try to study each topic in layers: first, grasp the theory well (preferably from NCERT or a simpler reference book), then solve basic questions, and only afterward attempt the tougher ones from coaching. If your teachers aren't explaining things from the basics, don't hesitate to ask questions or seek help from online platforms like YouTube or dedicated apps. Progress takes time, be patient and consistent, and avoid comparing yourself with others. Currently, your goal should be to understand concepts, not just to solve everything immediately. Keep showing up, and improvement will follow.
Good luck!
