Dear Gurus, I am currently in 12th grade with a subjects PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). In 11th grade, I primarily focused on my board exams (IPE) and only started preparing for entrance exams like EAPCET and JEE from May. Since then, I've covered some 11th-grade Physics topics, but now that school has started again, I am struggling to manage my preparation as most of my time goes into school (from 9 to 5). The faculty at my school, which focuses only on EAPCET, doesn't teach concepts properly. As a result, I haven't been able to score well in the weekly EAPCET tests that cover one chapter from each subject. Can you please guide me on how to cover the syllabus and revise effectively within the remaining time? Thank you. ---

Ans: Hi. Only I can say, if the student has a strong desire, he is capable to cover the lost syllabus with the help of good teachers. It is better to take the help of expert private tutors who can cover your syllabus more effectively. But your school time is from 9 to 5, which is too lengthy. But, any way you have to manage with pvt tutors. Else appear in the examination with the chapters you prepared well and have confidence in them. Even with the dropped syllabus, student is cablable to score good in any examination. Best of luck.

Sir my name is Omkar i will be appearing for jee mains next year sir actually some important chapters of 11th std I have in my backlog list due to shift from lower batch to upper batch in my classes and sir when I try to solve questions at home without seeing them i even get the right answer most of the times but when I go in the exam center most of the times even after trying I get wrong and and sir I don't know which part to start first like should I start from phy, chem or maths i attempt the paper randomly like not in a proper way where I will attend chem and phy first and then maths and sir I also don't get good marks in my exams I am always in the last rank of my entire batch sir what should I do ? How much hours should I study everyday ? And can you give me some tips and tricks to improve and preparation and destroy my backlogs ? . Thankyou in Advance Sir

Divide your time in the current study & backlog. Generally, 1 hour of classroom teaching coupled with 1.5-2 hours of self-study is recommended for the current study per subject. Allot the remaining time to cover the backlog.

Hello sir this is Nishat , I passed my 12th in the year 2023 with a good percentage but however I couldn’t see it for chemistry exam. So obviously I failed in that subject so I decided to again reappear for that exam and in 2024 I gave betterment exam from my state board in the subject biology and chemistry. However I scored far better in biology than last time but (Chemistry) I don’t know maybe it’s it’s because of the issues that we have with our board. I couldn’t score good marks so even I had decided to give (Chemistry) separately and so in 2024. I again set for (Chemistry) exam under nios I and I scored 80 so now the thing is that I’ll be having two mark sheet so while applying in need I cannot possibly select the code 2 because although I already have the state board certificate but the NIOS certificate is not yet out and it will be out by end of the March sir can I possibly select the code one that is appearing or will it create problems while counselling or is there any other option please help me out sir , I’m very desperate like I have prepared for neey for the last two years and I don’t want to put my hard work into vain. Please Sir help me out

Please select code 1 without any fear. Focus more on your study. But considering your fear and anxiety with the chemistry subject, it is recommended that you choose other options than NEET. This time you appear without any fear.

Depending on his score, it is difficult to get admission to premier institutions like NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs but several reputable private engineering colleges accept students with lower JEE Main scores. Please locate the reputed private college nearby you or in your state or if your financial position is sound, you can keep the options open to pan India. Some of the options are (1) Heritage Institute of Technology, Techno India University, Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) (Kolkata) (2) Anurag University, AAR Mahaveer Engineering College (Hyd) (3) Bangalore Institute of Technology, R.V.
