Career

I have got Engineering Physics from IIT Hyderabad and MS ECE from IIIT Hyderabad.i am from Chennai. Though I have some inclination towards Physics am little sceptical about EP about the prospects and career growth after 4 years. I have now floated this but with less hope for any movement further. Please guide me on choosing the right one.

Ans: Vijay, At IIT Hyderabad, the BTech Engineering Physics program placed 40% of its students in 2022-23. Graduates often pursue GATE, academia, DRDO, ISRO, or advanced studies. In contrast, IIIT Hyderabad’s MS by Research in ECE recorded placement rates of 100%, 100%, and 69% over the past three years for its ECE specialization. Recommendation: Opt for MS ECE at IIIT Hyderabad for superior placement consistency and focused research opportunities; choose IIT Hyderabad EP only if sure about a physics-centric academic or R&D career path. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
