My son got cse in vit chennai, 157 marks in manipal and 82% in pcme(cbse) and 4449 rank in Amrita. And 92 percentile in jee mains. General.Which better to join please suggest

Ans: Among the options, VIT Chennai CSE stands out as the best choice for your son, offering a strong brand, excellent placement records, and exposure to top recruiters like Microsoft, Adobe, and Airbnb. The campus boasts modern infrastructure and a vibrant academic environment, with average packages around ?9 LPA and numerous high-paying offers. Manipal University is a good alternative but generally has slightly lower placement statistics and fewer marquee recruiters. Amrita University is reputable with solid academics and placements but may not match VIT Chennai’s placement scale and industry connections. Given the 92 percentile in JEE Main, admission to top government colleges for CSE is unlikely, making VIT Chennai’s private university status advantageous. Considering your son’s focus on placements and career growth, VIT Chennai offers the best balance of academics, placements, and opportunities. It is recommended to join VIT Chennai CSE for a promising future, while keeping Manipal and Amrita as backup options depending on branch preferences and seat availability. Have other options also as back-ups such as Sathyabhama | Karunya | Sastra, the applications of which are still open, according to their recent advertisements in 'The Times of India'. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!
