Sir I got comedk rank 12k and jee main rank 2 lakh which government or private colleges can I get?

Ans: Lucky, With a COMEDK rank of 12,000 and a JEE Main rank of 2 lakh, you are not eligible for Computer Science (CSE) in top Bangalore colleges like RVCE, BMSCE, or MSRIT, as their CSE closing ranks are well below 1,200. However, you have good chances for CSE or allied branches in reputable private colleges such as Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT Tumkur), CMR Institute of Technology, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, and BNM Institute of Technology, where CSE and IT branches close between 6,000–15,000. For government colleges through JEE Main, options are limited to lower-tier NITs or state universities with higher closing ranks, and you may get non-core branches or core branches in less competitive institutes. Mechanical, Civil, or ECE are available in mid-tier colleges up to 12,000–15,000 rank in COMEDK.

The recommendation is to target CSE or IT in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, or CMR Institute of Technology through COMEDK, while also considering core branches in government colleges via JEE Main, ensuring a good academic environment and placement support at your rank. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
