My son got admission in VIT vellore CSE AI ML .He got 98.5 Percentile in JEE Mains. He is more interested in ECE . He may get ECE in Hamirpur or like NIT or in iiit like kanchipuram in CSAB? Shall we continue with VIT or Shift to tier 2 nit or IIIT? Please suggest

Dear Sir, My son secured admission in ECE VIT Chennai. I am in confused. He might able to get seat in ECE through Tamilnadu counselling at Sri krishna college Coimbatore.. Should I stick to VIT Chennai ? Should I try Tnea counselling? Kindly advise. Also he got 4600 rank in Kcet. I dont have hopes to get ECE in top 5 colleges in Bangalore too...

Ans: As TNEA Counselling is based on 12th Score, it is very difficult to get top-ranked Colleges in TN, especially for CBSE Students (I assume your son is from CBSE). Better NOT to reply further on TNEA Counselling. As far as KCET is concerned, your son can still try for ECE with MS Ramaiah, VTU College & BIT, if not, RV, BMS. If nothing works out till 3-rd round through KCET, better to go for SRI KRISHNA, Coimbatore. All The BEST for your Son's Bright Future. Hi Sir, my son got 98.3 percentile in JEE and based on previous year ranking he might get metallurgical, production or civil in NIT Trichy, ECE in IIITDM kancheepuram, mechanical in NIT nagpur.might get ECE or CCE in amrita coimbatore. Which one to choose for better exposure and placements.many advising to go for central govt institutes only and he is quite interested in ECE. Please advise

Go with the brand NIT with the preferred branch. Drop the idea of Amrita in front of NIT. Civil, mechanical are better options with NIT compared to ECE with Amrita. The final choice will be yours.
