My son got admission in VIT vellore CSE AI ML .He got 98.5 Percentile in JEE Mains. He is more interested in ECE . He may get ECE in Hamirpur or like NIT or in iiit like kanchipuram in CSAB? Shall we continue with VIT or Shift to tier 2 nit or IIIT? Please suggest

Dear Sir, My son secured admission in ECE VIT Chennai. I am in confused. He might able to get seat in ECE through Tamilnadu counselling at Sri krishna college Coimbatore.. Should I stick to VIT Chennai ? Should I try Tnea counselling? Kindly advise. Also he got 4600 rank in Kcet. I dont have hopes to get ECE in top 5 colleges in Bangalore too...

Ans: As TNEA Counselling is based on 12th Score, it is very difficult to get top-ranked Colleges in TN, especially for CBSE Students (I assume your son is from CBSE). Better NOT to reply further on TNEA Counselling. As far as KCET is concerned, your son can still try for ECE with MS Ramaiah, VTU College & BIT, if not, RV, BMS. If nothing works out till 3-rd round through KCET, better to go for SRI KRISHNA, Coimbatore. All The BEST for your Son's Bright Future. My son is tentatively getting ECE in MIT Manipal and CSE in Bangalore campus (as per rank predictor). Which one should be chosen. MIT score 130, 86 percent in PCM 10+2 and 92.6 percentile in JEE Mains 2025. His VIT rank is miserable. Any other suggestions would also be helpful.

Prefer CSE in Bangalore campus. Do not compromise your choice with the branch. First decide the branch then choose the college. Drop the idea of ECE as far as possible.

I have a rank of 154178 in jee mains, homestate jammu and kashmir, general female, kashmiri pandit, Which college can i get on this rank ( any nit,or any gfti). Should i prefer my homestate for btech or other states. ?

Ans: Hello dear.
With the mentioned rank, chance are less to get a seat NIT but chances are there in GFTI. Yet keep hopes open for NITs. It would be better for you prefer Delhi state for more better choices.

Ans: Hello Dear.
If your indication is towards NITs, then sorry for that. Chances are there for IIITs and you have to compromise with the branch. But if you are particular about the branch like CSE then contact private engineering college.

I got a jee mains rank 186976 and viteee rank 48233 in wbjee 58.15 marks in class 12 cbse board 81.4 percentage and in pcm 79 percentage tell me best colleges for cse under general category

Not possible to name the particular colleges here for CSE in WB. Please participate in the counseling process and choose the college which is nearest to your home town preferably. But with the given percentile and rank, please choose reputed private college.

Hi I'm 46 years and an entrepreneur for 20 years. I have hit a point now where I seem to have lost everything and seems like I'm at minus 1000 as I don't know what to do at the moment. I'm in the process of clearing my debts and raising some monies by selling a property that I own. Not sure how to even explore something new as in not sure of my skill sets that i possess. Societal pressure is also there in the kind of work/business that I would pursue. My wife too is exploring new opportunities and I'm sure she will pursue something in the months to come. Sir, my daughter has secured 96 percentile in JEE Main. She got admission in CSE from Thapar and VIT Vellore. She might get admission in Manipal as well. Would she get seats in NIT core branches? Should she choose any NIT any branch over these private colleges? Not very particular about CSE branch.

Ans: Hello Dear.
If you are not particular about CSE branch, then go with NIT core branches. But considering as a female candidate, think twice before going for core branches like Mechanical and Electrical. It would be better to go with CSE @ Manipal over other options considering expenses point of view.

I completed my 12 with 75.3% in pcm. I got 68k rank in viteee and 52 percentile in jee mains. Which colleges can I get if I want a career in IT sector specifically in ai and ml.

You did not mention the home state. Exploring the colleges pan India is not advisable. You can search a better college for AI, ML in your home state easily either with the help of Google or by taking the help of any engineering student.
