Sir I got 91 percentile in jee main rank around 1.32 lac, and 90percent in class 12th , can you please suggest private and govt engeneering college for me, any back nits IIITs, and private colleges also good, please sir

Ans: Hardik, With a JEE Main percentile of 91 and rank around 1.32 lakh, admission to core branches like CSE in top NITs and IIITs is unlikely. However, you may secure seats in other branches such as ECE, Mechanical, or Civil at lower-ranked NITs or Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Participating in JoSAA counselling is essential to explore these options. Private universities like VIT Vellore, SRM Chennai, Manipal University, Amrita, Shiv Nadar University, and UPES Dehradun are excellent alternatives, offering good infrastructure, placements, and accepting ranks up to 1.5 lakh for popular branches including CSE. Additionally, state engineering colleges may provide opportunities with relaxed cutoffs for local candidates. Applying to both government and reputed private institutions maximizes admission chances. Regardless of the college, focusing on internships, skill development, and projects will enhance career prospects. Choose based on preferred branch, location, and budget for the best overall outcome. All the best for your admissions and a bright future!
