I got 87.5percentile in jee mains i want cse in gftis which are the gfti i can get rank is 183693 pls answer and i want cse or ece in gfti

Ans: Daksh, With a JEE Main rank of 183,693 (87.5 percentile), securing CSE/ECE in top GFTIs (e.g., IIIT Sri City, IIIT Kottayam) is unlikely, as their 2024 CSE cutoffs closed at 23,959–50,571 for general candidates. However, lesser-known GFTIs like Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (Haridwar) (CSE cutoff: ~112,917) or Mizoram University (CSE cutoff: ~122,551) may offer seats in later CSAB rounds if vacancies arise. For ECE, explore Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering (Punjab) (cutoff: ~69,835) or J.K. Institute of Applied Physics & Technology (Allahabad) (ECE cutoff: ~67,123), though ranks remain competitive. Prioritize private universities like Amity/LPU via direct admission for CSE/ECE. Consider polytechnic diplomas followed by lateral entry or a drop year (not much recommended) to improve ranks for better options. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!
