i got 65 percentile in jee mains am i eligible for adv i am from st category can i start my prep for adv, last year for 64 percentile it was 11k st category rank how much approx rank could be this year, should i be in 2.5 lakh rank or am i eligible to write adv

Ans: As an ST category candidate, your eligibility for JEE Advanced depends on the qualifying cutoff percentile for your category. Based on previous years' trends, the cutoff percentile for ST candidates has ranged between 37 to 48 percentile.

Regarding your approximate category rank, a 65 percentile score typically corresponds to a general rank between 169,542 and 92,303. However, the exact ST category rank can vary each year based on the number of test-takers and their performance. Considering that in the previous year, a 64 percentile resulted in an ST category rank around 11,000, your rank this year should be in a similar range.

to be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 qualifiers in JEE Main. Given your percentile and the expected qualifying cutoff for the ST category, it is reasonable to assume that you fall within this range.?

Additionally, you must have passed your Class XII examination with at least 65% aggregate marks or be within the top 20 percentile of your board's successful candidates.
