If not satisfied with CSE @ NIT-J, then consider taking part in CSAB. Participating in CSAB can increase your chances of securing admission to better NITs compared to Jamshedpur. However, it can be a gamble. If Jamshedpur is far from your hometown, participating in CSAB could help you get admission to one of the top NITs. The final decision will be yours.

Pursuing CSAB is not advisable given cutoffs (but still if you wish to participate in CSAB, you can try), so confirm MBM or consider state-counselling alternatives for affordable CSE/ECE options.
