Stuck between BITS Hyderabad Mech and NIT Trichy Metallurgy: What should I do?

Parthiban qualified for GATE in 2002, 2011 and 2013 and has been training aspirants to prepare for NEET-UG and IIT-JEE.

Sir, I am getting the following seats: 1. Mechanical Engineering in BITS Hyderabad Campus (as of Iteration-III) 2. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering inNIT Trichy (as of 5th round of JOSAA) My doubts are 1. Should I register for CSAB special rounds or should I withdraw? 2. Should the BITS Hyderabad seat be preferred over the current or any other seat in NITs? Kindly address my queries

Ans: Go for Mechanical Engineering and study well.

Should I register for CSAB to look for a better seat allotment, which NIT based seats are preferable over the BITS seat?
Ans: Yes please do, if you are seriously thinking about it for quite sometime now. That's suggested because we should always hope for better. NIT is best for any branch. But do look at what suits you.
