My son is in first semenster and doing BE Mathamatics and computing from BITS Pilani Campus. Now is adament to drop from BITS and try for IIT for same or equivalanet branch from top 5 IITs. Is it worth ? How I can explain to my son

Ans: Giving importance to IIT-TAG is good. At the same time, he also should be confident enough that he can definitely be successful in his career of 'Civil Engineering'. Just for IIT-Tag joining the Stream not interested, is of NO Use. My suggestion (it is up to HIM to decide & if you are able to afford for 30-35 Lacs fees for 4-years): BITS-CSE.
