I am an ews category candidate, i scored 97.83 %ile in jee mains 2025.can i get btech cse in nit dgp. My homestate is west bengal

With a score of 97.83 + EWS, your chances of admission to NITs are there. It's better to attempt 2 JEE (Main) and state-level engineering entrance tests for better options. You can also think about IIIT for CSE opportunities.

Frankly speaking, difficult to get Mech @ Surathkal NIT.

I have a PPF account for past 20 years and have been depositing from my salary/ other income claiming S80C benefit. The annual interest and the corpus is taxfree. Is the situation likely to change and taxes levied by the Government ? Restrospectively ? How one can prepare for such eventuality ?

Ans: There is no change in income tax provision related to PPF and in my view, there will not be tax on PPF in future also

Dear sir, My son is studying BCom 4th semester at PES University, Bengaluru. His idea is to try CAT and other MBA entrance exams. Also our idea is for him to try competitive exams for banking, insurance etc., while appearing for campus selection tests and interviews. So, my thinking is that if he takes training for CAT it should be sufficient for him to tackle all the above types if competitive exams in addition to CAT. Please let me know whether this is correct and if so advise us for some good institutes for the same in Bengaluru or online as suitable.

Ans: CAT would help in banking and insurance exams. But there is a variation in the syllabus which he might need to take care of. Both can be prepared simultaneously.

Ans: If you have a clear business idea and plan to expand then can go for business, but I would still recommend doing MBA as in long run MBA could help in lot of ways like knowledge, networking, etc. Else if you have not yet started your business then MBA better option.
