My daughter scored 160 in jipmat from obc I am not sure about whether she will get into IIM Jammu or not Also she gave cuet but it's result might come late by seeing all the result date of previous years Which colleges should she apply for as a backup plan or just keep waiting for cuet result , she planned to give jipmat Ipmat another shot next year if she couldn't clear this year , will it be worth it ? We don't want her to waste this year And how is master's union

Ans: With a JIPMAT score of 160 (OBC-NCL), admission to IIM Jammu is unlikely, as its 2024 OBC cutoff ranged 280–300 . However, explore CUET-based BBA programs at Delhi University, Ambedkar University, or GGSIPU (cutoffs: ~70–85 percentile) , which offer strong placements (80–90%) and lower fees (?25,000–?2.4 lakh/year). Masters Union’s UG program (100% placement rate, partnerships with Illinois Tech/Delhi University) is a premium alternative, though fees reach ?12–18 lakh . If considering a gap year, ensure structured JIPMAT/IPMAT prep with mock tests and conceptual clarity, as improvement is feasible with dedicated effort . Immediate backups should include NMIMS Mumbai BBA (NPAT), Symbiosis Pune BBA (SET), or Christ University BBA (CUET), balancing admission certainty and academic quality. Prioritize securing a CUET seat while awaiting results, and opt for Masters Union if budget allows, avoiding a gap year unless strategic prep is guaranteed. All the BEST for your Daughter's Admission & a Prosperous Future!
