My daughter got seat at VIT Vellore M.TECH cyber security and she may get DA-IICT ICT which one to select for better job prospects

Ans: VIT Vellore’s M.Tech in Cyber Security is a well-structured, two-year program recognized for its strong industry connections, practical curriculum, and focus on emerging technologies like cryptography, cloud security, and digital forensics. It offers extensive hands-on experience and collaboration with leading companies, preparing students for careers in cybersecurity. The university has a robust placement cell with recruiters from top tech firms, ensuring good job opportunities.

DA-IICT’s M.Tech in ICT emphasizes academic rigor and research in information and communication technology. While it offers personalized attention and a focused curriculum, its placement scale and industry exposure are generally more limited compared to VIT Vellore.

Overall, VIT Vellore provides a more industry-oriented environment with better placement prospects and a broader recruiter network, making it a stronger choice for students aiming for careers in cybersecurity and related fields. DA-IICT is suitable for those seeking a research-focused program with a smaller campus setting.

Recommendation: For better job opportunities and industry exposure, VIT Vellore’s M.Tech Cyber Security is the preferable option. All the best for your admission and a bright future!
