Sir, my daughter got 89.86 percentile in MHT CET. Can she get CSE , AI & ML in Tier 1 colleges in Mumbai & Pune in SC category or Chemical in ICT. She is interested in Aerospace & Petrochemical branches, but unfortunately both branches not available in Maharashtra.

In tier 2 or 3 colleges, your daughter might gain admission to CSE or computer-related branches. You can also pursue management quota for CSE in a reputable private college if she is genuinely interested in that field. Additionally, you will need to leave Maharashtra for Aerospace and Petro Engineering.

The chances of getting CSE or AI in tier 1 or 2 colleges seem challenging. Yes, you can consider the option of ITM with your preferred course. You can try for CSE or AI in a reputed private college via management quota. However, with state-level counseling, she has bright chances of getting into colleges with a branch compromise situation, i.e., with core branches.
