I have completed my Btech in the year 2020 and then worked at Infosys for 1.5 years then I got laid off due to unavailability of projects and unemployed still now . So what should be my course of action shall I switch domain because I have a lot of fascination for video editing.

Ans: Please see the best online course of Video Editing and scope of earning for that. Go for the best online course. But by the time, before going for the course do one online certification course in AI and Machine Language. AI and Machine Language is the need of the day. So if you complete the certification course in AI and Machine Language at least you will get a job and after that start the online certification course of Video Editing. Best of luck. Just follow me. hi sir/mam, I completed my BCA in 2008 then moved to govt job prep(SSC,CDS) along with teaching job in coachings, got success in several exams and finally taken a job in railways for an year. Concurrently applied for MCA and completed in 2015, meanwhile started prep for civil services then moved to full fledged prep and left job got success in state lower pcs and RO/ARO, not joined but continued for UPSC. But ended up without success. So then aged up 32 so many things left to do, started teaching again and got married.Then decided to move back to cs, got selected in a drdo project as a JRF and working on ML,DL and Computer vision. Now i am unable to make my ends meet as a rentee in Delhi, continuously brushing skills I am confused in where I try my luck now? Like Data Science, DL, ML, Cloud Engineer or what, Please Help!!

Ans: Rolling Stones gather no moss.. is an old saying, stability is the essence of success.. Nothing is too good or too bad... In your case it's not LUCK.. You haven't stuck on to PLUCK the fruits of success .

Understand your core strength listen to your conscience.. Look for avenues that can support your income.. Take Tuitions ..this immediately comes to my mind to supplement your income.

I'm sure you will be a success.. Sooner or later!

Hi, I am 47 years old and have been working in IT industry for last 24 years. Now I am kind of tired of working in this area and I want to retire and do something that I am passionate about. I am more interested into creative line. I have a YouTube channel where I have posted my own directed couple of short movies that were appreciated by my family and friends. I want to choose another career option as film making or direction for rest of my career. Would it be a good decision to switch career at this stage? What are the available options to train myself at professional level while I switch?

Ans: The switch for fun where you are willing to blow up some hard earned money, is a calculative risk!?

It's a world of specialist and you are doing a switch hit.. Could be a 6 could be caught out!?

My advice go easy on what you are good at, have a small fling at your yearning if it's not eating into your reserves.. Then take a chance.. Part time at the beginning.. Always retaining your current source of income!?

Hi I am a Bcom graduate, worked as an audit associate in KPMG for a year and pursued my diploma in video editing, I worked as a video editor for 3 years and now lost the job for no reason of mine. It is getting hard for me to get a job in video editing especially after rise of the AI. It has been more than a year and haven't found anything concrete in my domain and I am considering going back to IT or any other domain but I don't have anyone to guide me. All I see is customer support roles. I graduated in 2016. Please help. What can I do next to get a job?

Ans: Dear Mr. Dilip Many a times , just for trivial financial gain , we commit blunder and chage the track almost 180degree and then find themselves at point of no return. It is fact AI has its advantages and disadvantages . Job losses are apprehended due to use of AI Tools in editing and many generative fields requiring expertise whereas AI ChatGPT etc can perform those tasks in Minutes . Nevertheless , I will suggest you to learn some relevant AI courses to upgrade you skills or else get back to Auditing , starting from Good accoutning firm or other companies in the field of accounts/ commercial/ Stores / SCM / Logistics and then you can go for SAP SD / MM/Fico like courses to upskill yourself.

Hi sir my father had purchased a property for 2 lack in year 1993 now he is planing to sell it for around 8 crore how much tax he must pay where to invest the amount, he might get some 2 cr in black also what to do with that amount and we want to generate a monthly income of 2 lack with this amount

Ans: 01. This transaction would generate LTCG of big amount. You may calculate your LTCG with 12.50% without Indexation or 20.00% with Indexation. You can choose the better option.
02. The best way seems to Invest this amount in House Property, in which case your both Cash & Bank amounts will be absorbed. Besides Regular Income from this property (like Rental income etc.), Capital appreciation would give you substantial push. Another justification of this Investment would be to save big on LTCG tax.

Can u brief me about new indexation rule for capital gains

Ans: Under present provisions of Income Tax Act, you may opt any of the options (in case of Long Term Capital Gains), as under :
(01). Tax Rate 12.50% without indexation or
(02). Tax Rate of 20% with Indexation.
You may calculate your tax liability under both options & may opt for the tax regime, where tax liability is minimum.
This is subject to the condition that the property is sold after 23.07.2024 & purchased before 23.07.2024 only. This is applicable to Resident citizens only.

For capital gains. Can I book a flat now to get possession in 3 years.

Ans: I hope you are asking for exemption u/s 54/54F only.
To avail exemption you need to purchase a Residential property with in 2 years from date of Sale of asset/property. It would be better, if you can Register this Flat in your favor with in 2 years.

My daughter is staying abroad and housewife. She sold her plot for 14 lacs for her son's education. This amount was sent to her husband a/c abroad from her brother's local indian a/c. Should she submit IT? Plz clarify.

Ans: 01. Since she has sold plot in India, there must be some Capital Gains, which are subject to Income Tax. So she needs to file her ITR in India.

Hello sir, I am a 11th grade student. Now iam very confused amd depressed that what should i study now. Let me tell my goals. 1st thing is i want to get top 3 rank in my school examination and 2nd is to prepare for JEE MAIN examination and 3rd is to complete 12th std portions before May month 2025 to score a very good mark in my 12th board examination at 2026. And i also need to complete my JEE MAINS portions before november month for my Jee mains examination which is at Jan month and i need to crack it with 99 percentile at my first attempt and get into any one of the prestigious colleges. But iam very confused that what engineering should i choose. According to me I love all the engineering fields but i need to choose a field which will give the highest salary.These are the things that are revolving in my mind. Can you please give me perfect solution for my 5 confusions..

Without taking an examination, without any score in hand, without any college in hand, without any course in hand, you are thinking and thinking and thinking for no reason. The goals/targets set by you are appreciable. But to convert them into reality, you have to work hard and excel in all the examinations. The highest salary is not only based on your degree or only on the college name. There are a lot of other parameters. Your journey is very long. Please keep your eyes only on your studies. Crack JEE (Mains + Adv) with a high score, get admission to a top IIT college, and choose the best course of your liking. Excel in the engineering then test the flavour of success.
