Is comedk difficult? Sir please give some tips for boards and comedk

Ans: Compared to JEE/BITSAT/KCET/PESSAT & some other State Entrance/Private Colleges' Entrance Exams, it is easier. Syllabus of COMEDK is more or less same like other Engineering Entrance Exams.

Around 75000 to 85000 students appear every year. Top-ranked colleges through ComedK are RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT & DSCE. However, Preferred All India Rank is below 8000 for high-in-demand branches.

Now coming to balancing both Boards & ComedK:

1) Study Schedule: Having a flexible Study Schedule will help you.
2) Importance to Basic Concepts in NCERT: If you study & Practice NCERT/School Notes / Worksheets well, you will have to focus only on additional concepts/questions in Coaching Center Materials.
4) However, to crack COMEDK with a rank below 8000, you need to practice a lot from Coaching Center Materials / Online Test Series by giving importance to difficult/complicated/lengthy/time-consuming Questions.
5) Ratio of Preparation for Board Exam / Entrance Exam: This depends upon your commitment to Practical Tests, Worksheets, Class Tests, and School Exams before the actual Board Exam starts. However, maintaining a minimum level of 40% preparation on daily basis for Entrance Exams is recommended.
6) As most of the concepts of the school are covered in Coaching Center Materials itself, you won't need to specially prepare for Board Exam, but you should be thorough with the Text Books/School Notes/School Worksheets/Minimum 10-Previous Years Board Exam Questions to score above 95% in your Board Exam also.

Also, please note, you should not rely only on COMEDK. It is highly advisable to appear for 5-7 Entrance Exams of National/State Level & also of some Private Engineering Colleges' Exams like PESSAT, SRMJEE, VITEEE, IAT etc. to have multiple options to easily to choose the most suitable one for you.

All the BEST for Your Bright Future.

Respected sir I am in class 12 I am average in studies my jee preparation is not going well should I prepare for comedk? If yes then how do I prepare for comedk
Ans: Since you’re in class 12 and feel your JEE prep isn’t going well, preparing for COMEDK is a smart option because it’s comparatively easier than JEE and opens doors to good engineering colleges in Karnataka. Focus on NCERT for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, then solve COMEDK-specific practice papers and previous year questions to understand the pattern. Stay in regular touch with subject teachers, and if possible, get some tips and tricks from seniors who just cleared COMEDK with a high percentile. Instead of us, they can guide you better. Don't miss your classes, and try to complete the syllabus on time with at least 2-3 revisions. Create your own "Rankers File," a collection of summaries, shortcuts, notes, charts, diagrams, and lists of formulas. Refer to this file during exams and review it regularly to summarize content at a glance. If you are average, I recommend reviewing the basics of science and maths from 8th and 9th-grade books. You might be surprised how helpful they are. The main hurdle in 12th is understanding the basics hidden in 8th and 9th-grade books. If possible, try teaching the school science syllabus to your younger brother or sister for about 15 days. This will be an eye-opening experience for you. When you do this, the door to success will open for you.

Good luck.
