Good afternoon sir,my son is studying in class 10 now and we're unable to decide his future career prospects.based upon his interest we've shortlisted ipmat and clat after 12 th.Kindly guide about the career prospects and difficulty level of both the exams / couses and the stream he must take in class 11 for the same.Thanks.

Ans: Sumeet Sir, Please Note, (1) Syllabus for both Exams are more or less same. (2) It is advisable to join any Coaching Center once your Son completes his 10th Standard, either offline (if nearby your home) or online. (3) From now onwards, he can even practice questions of Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning & Verbal Ability of 10th Level to get him mentally prepared for Advance Problems for both Exams during his 11th / 12th Standards. (4) He should focus more on weak subjects and practice more till he appears in both Exams (5) Should also plan to manage both School Syllabus & also preparation for these 2 exams (6) He has to keep on attempting Online Test Series frequently to not only to know the wrongly answered questions but also the speed and accuracy, besides time taken for each question (7) MOST IMPORTANT which your son should keep in mind. Law Courses are tougher, compared to Management Courses. (8) Aspiring Law Students should read, write & memorize a lot like Sections, Sub-Sections, Clauses & Sub-Clauses various Bare Acts apart from Specialisation your son chooses (Civil, Criminal, Company, Labour Laws etc.) (9) According to a recent Article in 'Times of India', most Law Graduates prefer working in Corporates / Companies instead of Practising as Lawyers in Courts due to lack of lengthy litigation process and lack of patience. Please think over this, whether your son will be suitable for this? If yes, he can appear in CLAT Exam also apart from IPMAT as a back-up (10) Please shortlist the Universities / Colleges to be targeted for both exams and also the know the expected Score / Percentile / Marks for the Top-Ranked Universities / Colleges. I hope I have covered important points Sir. If you need any other clarification(s), please follow-up with me.

All the BEST for your Son's Bright Future, Sir.

Good morning. My son is in standard 10th right now.We have planned to target CLAT and IPMAT for him after 12th.I it possible to prepare for both?If yes,how should he go about preparing for both ? What is the exam schedule? Thanks and regards.
Ans: Sumeet Sir, as Students should always have Plan B & Plan C, he can target both CLAT & IPMAT. However,

(a) he should allot more time to the one he is more interested in (law or management?).
(b) Preparing for both exams even from the 10th now will help him a lot to crack both exams with a decent score
(c) It is better to shortlist at least 5 law/management colleges he wishes to join, based on location preference, NIRF Ranking, specialization in both (civil, criminal, corporate, tax, cyber, intellectual property etc. and also in management: Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, IT/Systems, etc.)
(d) He should join offline or online Coaching with any reputed Coaching Center. Choosing the right coaching center to prepare for both exams is important & also the Time Management for both.
(e) Make sure, he chooses the right stream (commerce or science) for his 11th/12th. Choosing the easier stream and the stream he is interested in will be better as he has to focus for CLAT & IPMAT also.
(f) It is also advisable to appear in 2-more Law & Management Entrance Exams as back-ups, instead of relying only on CLAT & IMPAT.
(g) Please check the syllabus of each Entrance Exam, download them, check the differences & he should focus more on weak subjects/topics among (examples of 2 exams):

IPMAT: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
CLAT: current affairs, logical reasoning, English language, legal reasoning, and quantitative techniques.

All the BEST for Your Son's Bright Future, Sir.

Career
Hi,my son has got 96% in his icse class 10 exams this year.he is not inclined towards a career in sciences (b.tech/med).he has thus opted for commerce and maths.with an initial inclination towards finance and mathematics we have shortlisted ipm and law and enrolled him for a coaching for ipm.would he be able to prepare for clat as well along with ipm.and with 96 % how are his chances to clear both ?
Ans: Yes, your son can prepare for both CLAT and IPM exams simultaneously, especially given his ICSE score. With a 96% score, he has a strong chance of success in both exams. CLAT and IPM share some common ground, which could make preparation more manageable.
Preparation for both CLAT and IPM:
CLAT:
CLAT requires a strong foundation in English comprehension, logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and legal reasoning. IPM exams also test similar skills.
IPM:
IPM exams focus on quantitative ability, analytical reasoning, and verbal reasoning. CLAT also assesses these skills.
Overlap:
The core skills tested in both exams, such as quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and logical reasoning, provide common ground for preparation. Your son's coaching for IPM can help him develop a solid foundation in these areas.
Legal Reasoning:
CLAT specifically requires legal reasoning, which is not part of IPM. Your son can focus on preparing for this section separately.
Scheduling:
Balancing preparation for both exams requires careful planning. He can allocate specific time slots for each exam's preparation.
Chances of Clearing Both:
IPM:
With a 96% ICSE score, your son has a strong chance of clearing IPM exams. His high marks indicate a strong aptitude for quantitative reasoning and problem-solving.
CLAT:
CLAT is a highly competitive exam, but with his current scores, your son has a very good chance of clearing CLAT.
Factors affecting success:
Preparation efforts, effective time management, and consistency in studying will play a crucial role in determining success in both exams.
Tips for Preparation:
Structured Approach:
A structured study plan that includes regular practice, mock tests, and detailed analysis of mistakes will be beneficial.
Mock Tests:
Regular mock tests for both CLAT and IPM will help him assess his progress and identify areas for improvement.
Time Management:
Developing effective time management skills is crucial for balancing preparation for both exams.
Focus on Fundamentals:
Ensure he has a strong foundation in the core subjects of both exams.
Practice:
He should solve a variety of questions and practice problems to build confidence and improve his speed and accuracy.
Best of luck. Professor

Sir, is CSE from South Asian University better than Electronics (Instrumentation and Control) from Thapar University?
Ans: Nidhi, South Asian University in New Delhi offers a four-year B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary curriculum spanning foundational (Advanced Calculus, Engineering Physics), emerging (Blockchain, Soft Computing, Wireless Networks), and research-oriented courses, supported by a 1:4 faculty-student ratio of predominantly PhD holders from JNU, IIT Delhi and abroad, and modern labs and digital classrooms. Thapar University in Patiala’s three-year B.E. in Electronics (Instrumentation & Control) combines rigorous analog/digital electronics, sensors, control systems, and process automation with extensive hands-on lab work, backed by a 1:20 average faculty-student ratio of PhD-qualified and industry-experienced professors, and a 250-acre campus featuring advanced workshops, Wi-Fi, separate AC/non-AC hostels, sports and research facilities. Placement rates for SAU CSE have ranged from 60% to 90% over the last three years, driven by partnerships with TCS, Infosys, Amazon, and research bodies, while Thapar EIC boasts approximately 88% placement over recent cohorts, with top recruiters such as Texas Instruments and ISRO. SAU, established by SAARC nations, maintains global accreditation with a selective 13% overall acceptance rate and prioritizes research collaboration across South Asia, whereas Thapar holds NAAC A+ and NBA/ABET accreditations, ranking 29th in both NIRF Engineering and University categories in 2024.

Recommendation: pursue South Asian University’s CSE in New Delhi for innovative curriculum and personalized mentorship, or choose Thapar University’s EIC in Patiala for robust industry integration and comprehensive infrastructure, based on your career focus and learning style. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Dear Sir, As per marks in CET for my daughter, we have below options. Options 1 - Pimpri Chinchwad University - Btech in CS Option 2- Depending on CAP rounds PVPIT - TSSMS college bavdhan Option 3- Indira College of engineering and management Avoiding DY Patil International ..so question is . Our preference is PCU but it follows under private university and its 3rd year of the college however they PCCOE trust runs the college. Indira and PVPIT follows under SPPU ..will there be any risk to choose PCU as it's private university or should we go for any SPPU College Regards
Ans: Pimpri Chinchwad University (PCU) in Pune, run by the PCET trust, offers B.Tech CSE under a private-university umbrella with a modern 40-acre campus near Nigdi and centralized placement support across PCET institutes. Its nascent third-year status means no PCU-specific placement history yet, though the Trust’s institutes delivered 2,147 offers to 1,662 students in 2022 with 80–90% average branch placements, varied recruiter base (TCS, Cognizant, IBM, L&T Infotech) and high peak packages. Tuition of ?8.4–9.6 L aligns with Trust-wide standards, while infrastructure and labs are still maturing. PVPIT (Bavdhan), a 2006-established SPPU-affiliated college, holds NAAC A grade and AICTE approval, charging ?4.4 L total fees. Its 2024 CSE placements saw an average package of ?3.5 LPA and highest ?11 LPA, recruiting from Infosys, Capgemini, Tata Motors and IBM with ~81% placement consistency. Campus spans 9 acres, offering well-equipped labs and NAAC-accredited curricula. Indira College of Engineering & Management (Parandwadi), under SPPU since 2007, holds NAAC B++ accreditation, fees around ?4 L per year, and reported a 2024 average CSE package of ?4 LPA with top recruiters like Samsung, Mercedes-Benz and TCS, achieving ~60–70% branch placements. It provides industry-focused training, modest infrastructure and established alumni.

For proven SPPU affiliation, established accreditation, and balanced placements at moderate fees, the recommendation is PVPIT Bavdhan CSE. Next, for a well-rounded CSE experience under a strong SPPU umbrella, choose Indira College of Engineering & Management, Pune. Finally, if you value long-term PCET trust backing and can accommodate higher fees with potential campus growth, select Pimpri Chinchwad University Pune CSE. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Good morning sir iam from andhra pradesh my son got 93.31 in jeemains ews but still now no seat allotment in josaa what can we do ? Any hope sir?
Ans: With a 93.31 percentile in JEE Main under the EWS category, all JoSAA EWS seats in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs are already closed by ranks well below this mark, making further allotment unlikely. CSAB-Special rounds follow the same merit list and will not open additional EWS seats beyond JoSAA’s allocation. As an alternative, consider private institutions in Andhra Pradesh that accept JEE Main scores without domicile constraints, offering accredited curricula, modern labs, industry internships and 80–95% placement support:
Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Guntur), Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (Vijayawada), Aditya University (Kakinada), Godavari Global University (Rajahmundry), Vishnu Institute of Technology (Bhimavaram), Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Narasaraopet), Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (Macherla), PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology (Vijayawada), VIT-AP University (Amaravati), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amaravati).

For guaranteed admission with robust infrastructure and placement links, the recommendation is Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research Guntur. If metropolitan industry exposure is preferred, recommendation shifts to Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College Vijayawada. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!
