Hi Sir, My son got OBC NCL category rank 1140. he is interested in electrical. which would be best college he can opt for... (I knew he will get bombay, delhi madras and kanpur)..and if not electrical suggest a decent branch from IIT - B, D and M. thank you
Ans: Electrical at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, and IIT Kanpur seems very challenging. Prefer the best IIT with Mechanical, Aerospace, Engineering Physics, or Chemical over a lower-tier IIT for a marginally better branch; at this rank, IIT Kharagpur, Roorkee, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and BHU should be your primary focus.

महोदय, मेरा बेटा ओबीसी एनसीएल श्रेणी से है और उसने सीआरएल में 2250वीं रैंक और अपनी श्रेणी में 415वीं रैंक हासिल की है। हमारा गृह राज्य तेलंगाना है। मैं जानना चाहता हूँ कि मेरे बेटे को किस एनआईटी कॉलेज में सीएसई या ईईई शाखा मिल सकती है। IIIT हैदराबाद में सीएसई मिलने की क्या संभावनाएँ हैं?
Ans: आपके बेटे को शीर्ष एनआईटी में सीएसई या ईईई में दाखिला मिलने की प्रबल संभावना है। हालांकि, जेईई मेन के माध्यम से IIIT हैदराबाद में सीएसई में प्रवेश पाना मुश्किल लग रहा है। संभावना तभी बनेगी जब कटऑफ में अनुकूल बदलाव आएगा।
