MBBS pvt v/s ENGINEERING pvt
I am getting btech CSE specialization in bioinformatics at VIT vellore (will cost around 30 lakhs in total) and will also get MBBS at East point medical college bangalore (will cost about 60 in total, no hostel reqd as home is in blr). Which one should i prefer?

The social status of a doctor is always considered superior. However, you only mentioned the UG fees, which are around 60 lakh in total. Please add an estimate of about 5 to 10 lakh for your personal expenses over the next five years. Are you certain that completing only UG studies will help you build a career in the medical field? You also need to pursue PG. Can you guarantee that you will get a seat in a government college for PG? If not, what are the expenses for PG? I believe you should also consider the post-UG expenses for PG, which may sometimes exceed one crore. If your family is prepared for total expenses of about 1.5 to 2 crore, including PG, then you might consider joining a private medical college for MBBS. I hope you understand my point. The final decision is yours.
