Ans:

Sir I have got 219950 (85 percentile in the jee mains) and 95.4 percentage in boards and 92.33 percentage in PCM i want to pursue cse from some reputable college or university please suggest me
Ans: Aditya, With a JEE Main rank of 219,950 (85 percentile) and 92.33% PCM, securing CSE in top NITs/IIITs is unlikely (e.g., NIT Trichy CSE cutoff: ~5,350), but reputable private universities like Chandigarh University (CSE cutoff: ~80–85 percentile, 90% placements via JEE Main/CUCET) and VIT Vellore (via management quota, 95% placements) offer viable pathways. LPU (CSE cutoff: ~320–350 LPUNEST marks, 85–90% placements) and Sharda University (CSE cutoff: ~651k rank, 91% placements via SUAT) are accessible with your score. For specialized tech roles, SRM Chennai (CSE cutoff: ~9,500 SRMJEEE rank) or Manipal Jaipur (MET rank ~11,099) provide industry-aligned curricula. Prioritize Chandigarh University for affordability and robust internships or VIT Vellore via management quota for institutional legacy. If CSE is unavailable, opt for IT/AI/Data Science at Amity Noida (direct admission with 95.4% boards) or KIIT Bhubaneswar (JEE Main cutoff ~235k). Confirm scholarships based on academic merit and explore coding ecosystems for lateral skill development. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Hello sir I am getting cse in Chandigarh University and Jaypee noida 68 which is better and I have also applied for the thapar will I get computer engineering with 85 percentile in the jee mains and the 95.4 in boards
Ans: Aditya, With an 85 percentile in JEE Mains and 95.4% in 12th boards, securing Computer Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) is unlikely, as the expected cutoff for outside Punjab candidates is around 94.47 percentile. However, branches like Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical and Computer Engineering (EEC) may be attainable.

At Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, the closing rank for CSE is around 51,000 (approximately 95 percentile), making admission less likely with your current percentile.

Recommendation: Prioritize Chandigarh University for CSE due to its robust placement record and higher likelihood of admission. Consider TIET for alternative branches like ECE or EEC, and explore other institutions where your percentile aligns with the cutoff requirements. All the BEST for your Admission & Prosperous Future!
