My son has got admission in SRM ECE and at the same time he may get ECE or EEE in Sasta university.which one would be better choice in terms of teaching, placement and research

Sir,
My son got admission in SRM-KTR in ECE branch.His PCM cut off is 80%.His jee mains score is 80 percentile.
We have applied for Mtech integrated 5yrs course in VIT vellore.we have chances of getting in VIT Vellore or Chennai.
We are in confusion whether to continue in SRM for ECE or VIT M tech integrated course?.
Pls suggest better choice and why
Ans: Prefer: VIT Vellore (if offered) for the 5-year Integrated M.Tech — especially if the specialization aligns with current tech trends (e.g., AI, Data Science, Embedded Systems).
Why?
Better brand and reputation than SRM.
Long-term academic value with a Master’s degree included.
Stronger peer group and placement ecosystem.
