I AM 49 YEARS OLD MAN, presently Iam having my creatine as 1.6 and 1.7 my doctor is saying due to high BP it was coming, and your kidney is funtioning 50% due to high BP, is it true and i want to know whether it is possible to increase my kidney's funtion and how. Please give me idea. and i am consulting Nephrologist once in 3 months renal artery doppler is normal he is saying, and scan also done they gave tablets to reduce BP, is it possibe to develop my kidney funtion if so how please advice. by AGNELO VIJAYAN.

I AM 49 YEARS OLD MAN, preently Iam having my creatine as 1.6 and 1.7 my doctor is saying due to high BP it was coming, and your kidney is funtioning 50% due to high BP, is it true and i want to know whether it is possible to increase my kidney's funtion and how. Please give me idea. by AGNELO VIJAYAN.

Ans: Hi. I would suggest you to do Urine routine and 24 hour urinary protein. It is advised to consult a Nephrologist nearby. USG abdomen and renal artery doppler is required. We need to rule out kidney causes for high BP.
Please do these tests and consult a Nephrologist at the earliest.

I am a 43 year old Male , my creatinine is 2.14, it was happened due to high BP but my BP is now normal and my weight is reduced almost 15 kg after that, i took medicine of Alpha Ketoanalogue tablets for Kidney and sometime increased uric acid, Also hv tthyrod, maintained low protein diet. I want to know can it be possible to cure my kidney function as before. pl suggest

Ans: The cause of the raised creatinine needs to be investigated. If it is only due to long standing hypertension, you may not be able to reverse the creatinine but may be able to prevent further worsening by tightly controlling BP and blood sugar.

Ans: Hi, Your creatinine is high at a relatively young age. We need to find the cause. Probably we need to do the kidney biopsy if it is feasible. That will tell you the extent of kidney damage and if it is temporary or permanent. If it is permanent damage, usually the kidney disease progress over a period of time. You need to consult a nephrologist on regular basis and follow his advice to retard the progression of kidney disease.

Sir, Iam 49 years old my present BP is 130/90 some times and 140/100 some times, my present cretine leve is 1.6 to 1.7, how to reduce my cretine is any special medicne for this to reduce pls advice. I am going urine normal and my dopping is also normal, protine is normal. pls advice.

Ans: Hi. I don't think, high blood pressure is the cause for raised creatinine. You need to meet a nephrologist and try to ascertain the cause. Sometimes kidney biopsy also may be required to know the cause. That will give more clarity on the extent of kidney damage and also help us to make the treatment plan.

I recommend following the VIT website for the latest updates, as it provides information exclusively for candidates. There’s no need to worry. You will need to make your decision before you present yourself in Phase 4. It's possible that you may have a less competitive course, but you will still be able to take core engineering subjects. Prepare yourself and be ready to accept the option you have determined.

CCE (Computer & Communication Engineering) – Amritapuri

ELC (Electronics & Computer Engineering) – Amritapuri

Ans: As you are from ST category, getting into MBA college after graduation should be relatively easier. So if you plan for management as a career, you can do BBA degree or 3 year course from any college and then can look for writing CAT and getting into one of the IIMs.

Hello sir I am a graduate in Mechanical engineering. I want to pursue masters in manufacturing, automation and this sector . And also I Have given interview for Mahindra university hyderabad and they offered me in robotics and also I am getting Robotics and automation in SRM , Automotive technology in SRM for masters . And one more thing is The interviews and offline tests for NITs in self financing are in June ending so Should I Go for private or Wait for the NIts process and then Go for SRM and Mahindra . I am very confused regarding the programs and college as in last i want a good placement .

Ans: Check what is the cancellation fee for these colleges. What if you cancel before June end. As per govt regulation cancellation fee is minimal if done so before the college starts. Based on that you can decide.
