BAMS do have scope if you have faith & passionately pursue it. BAMS doctors do have the same knowledge as MBBS doctors. Today almost everything is moving towards ayurveda. Have you checked the cutoff for BAMS for Govt Colleges?
After Doing BAMS, you can do PG or a bridge course to start giving allopathic medicines along with ayurvedic.

Ans: Please don't think of salary potential. First you think out of the two which one do you like more. If you take the choice of your preference then automatically you can earn more, but for salary potential if you take wrong stream then whole life you will be frustrated and even you won't be able to earn.
