Hi Anu, how to avoid fighting with your spouse, especially in front of parents and kids?

Ans: Dear Anonymous,
The same way you ask your children to behave in front of others without throwing tantrums.
You do expect your children to follow that instruction, don't you? Then the same applies to adults as well. The reason we explode in the open is because we have taken the other person for granted and also not kept a check on our own behavior.
So, start practising the art of silence when you feel triggered and provoked. Requesting the spouse to take the chat in private also will help him/her to understand that it's important to keep certain things between the two of you.
When in private, talk without confrontation and with an intent to resolve. The more you approach it this way, the more this will become the norm for conflict resolution between spouses. So, no tantrums and yes to patient conversations.

HI I am married man aged 52 having kids and wife, my wife always fights on small -small discussion and make so much arguments and some times its goes very high. I have became fade up with this type of fighting. my kids are adults. pl advise how can i handle it.

Ans: Dear Savendra,
I am sure this can throw you off balance when you don't understand the reason as to what is it that makes her upset. It is possible that she is at that age where her hormones are all over the place and this can cause mood related changes. Kindly visit a doctor who will be able to advice further on this.
As a couple, I would suggest spending more time together on holidays or date nights...you are never old to party or go on dates or simply catch up a cup of coffee together. This makes your bond stronger and newer as well.
Sometimes emotional challenges or lack of closeness can show up as anger or sadness...
Try newer ways of connecting...it will surely help you two get closer!

Hi Sir/madam, I am married from 2 years my husband husband and my parents have issues as when they meet have fights so no peace could you please advice.

Ans: Dear HVM,
All of them are grown-ups; if they can't behave like one, please don't let them meet at all...It unnecessarily stresses you out.
Can your parents not understand what these fights are doing to you? If they don't, please tell them...
Can your husband not understand what these fights are doing to you? If he doesn't, please tell him...

Hopefully they stop acting immature and at least move into a place where they can just tolerate one another and act neutral. That's enough.

Ans: Old NITS are hundreds times better than new IITS.IIIT is a relatively new concept.Prefer good NITs.For NITs you need a decent percentile in JEE MAIN.
